We’ve made it, dudes! We are about a quarter of the way through this whole dang series, and I thought like any professional and respectable business, I ought to update my investors on the recap situation. That’s what we’re doing here, right?
~*~THE REBELDE WAY QUARTERLY REPORT~*~
Relationships that have happened: Holy mother of God, where to even begin.
- Pablo/Vico
- Manuel/Feli
- Vico/Tomás
- Nico/Luna
- Mia/Joaquin
- Marizza/Joaquin
- Manuel/Vico
- Pilar/Joaquin
- Vico/Joaquin
- Mia/Guido
- Marizza/Pablo
- Marizza/Marcos
- Manuel/Julieta
- Feli/Augusto
- Tomás/Fernanda
- Manuel/Mia

Characters who’ve lost their virginity: 2 (Pablo, Pilar). 3 if we count Vico, who’s implied to have lost it pre-series. Potentially 4 (Tomás), depending on how you interpret his map room visits with Vico.
Characters with substance abuse issues: 2 (Pablo, Joaquin). 3 including Marcos’s dead brother.
Not-ethics teachers we’ve been through: 3 (OG not-ethics teacher, presumably fired after dressing up like a burglar; useful ex-student teacher, fired after hooking up with Sonia during school hours; Blas).
Dance teachers we’ve known: 3 (Alicia, Lulu, that one unattractive lady who lasted half an episode).
People Mansilla has helped*: 7 (Marizza, Mia, Pablo, Hilda, Tomás, Lulu, Feli).
* Only counts if he helped them with some kind of heart-to-heart talk. Him unwillingly saving Dunoff’s ass with the school board doesn’t count.
Cheating cheaters: OH BOY.
- Manuel (with Mia while dating Feli, with Mia while dating Julieta. I don’t recall him cheating on Vico, but probably just because they dated for half a week and even Manuel can’t cheat on such short notice)
- Vico (with Tomás while dating Pablo)
- Joaquin (with Marizza while dating Mia and vice versa, with Vico while dating Pilar, probably with other girls while dating Pilar but not mentioned)
- Mia (with Manuel while dating Guido)
- Pablo (with Paula while dating Marizza, kind of. I’m just sayin’, don’t slow-dance with a girl under a disco ball if you’re gonna hook up with someone else the second she leaves town)
- Nico (with Luna while dating Tatiana and vice versa)
- Marizza (attempted with Luca while dating Marcos)
- Papa C (with Sonia while dating Mercedes)
- Papa B (with Paula and probably a bunch of other women while married to Mama B)
- Mama B (with Unattractive Ashmore Triplet Tennis Instructor while married to Papa B)
- Mama D (attempted with Mansilla while married to Dunoff)
- Dunoff (pre-series, with Sonia while married to Mama D)
Students who have almost been expelled, but weren’t: 3 (Vico, Joaquin, Manuel).
Songs Erreway has performed at the club: 3 (Sweet Baby, Inmortal, Será porque te quiero). Apparently that’s enough to make them as popular as the Beatles!
Erreway songs heard in the show*: 6 (Inmortal, Bonita de más, Amor de engaño, Dos segundos, Te soñé, Pretty Boy).
* Only songs that have been used in the soundtrack. As far as I remember, “Sweet Baby” has only been heard at the club. Also somewhat weirdly, 4 of the 8 songs have been the boys’ songs (either together or Manuel/Pablo solo).
Editions of Pilar’s newspaper: 7
People who have found out that Pilar wrote the newspaper, then forgot about it: 2 (Mia, Guido).
Projections for next quarter: Ignoring the obvious (the Society getting busted, Pablo and Paula breaking up, Blas continuing to perv on underage girls, etc), I predict:
- Pilar’s newspaper will come back into play
- They’ll get a new dance teacher
- Marcos’s drug addict brother will be a plot again
- Vico will inexplicably decide to date Guido
- Nobody will ever mention Joaquin again
- Erreway will sing one (1) whole song live
- Nacho will finally go away forever, but not before having one or two really unnecessary storylines that will kill me slowly as I watch them
- The Diegos will have a cage match to the death, to be the Supreme Diego
- Random Amanda’s name will be mentioned again, and I will fail to catch it again
