Opening monologue: I don’t know why I love you, but I do. They’re not even trying anymore.
We left off with Marizza finding out that her mother has ditched to go to Europe, but instead of opening there, we roll back to Guido and his mystery visitor: “YOU?!” Guido gasps, upon opening the door. People in this show are so fucking rude. You can’t get a hello first? Guido’s shock is even less believable when it’s revealed that his visitor is Mansilla. Like, of course Mansilla was going to come fix your life, Guido! You should have been expecting this! Also, way to suddenly switch into the familiar you. Anyway, Mansilla’s immediately all like, “Wow, you must be really lonely and bored,” and Guido’s like, “No way, I am having much fun!” Mansilla’s like, “No you’re not,” and Guido breaks down crying and admits that he is lonely and bored. He wants to see his friends, but nobody’s visited or even called! Hasn’t Guido only been gone for like a day? Mansilla’s like, “I knew it! AND I WILL TRY TO FIX YOU!”
Papa C calls Mia and tells her that he’s going to make her and Manuel come to dinner. Mia’s suspicious, but Papa C chirps that he just wants to see them happy together. Mercedes smirks all evilly in the background, as she’s wont to do.
Nico drags Tomás into the cafeteria and kind of weirdly tells him to take care of Luna, since he still loves her but she wants to date Tomás now. Tomás is like, “Sure bro.” Then he asks Nico about Tatiana, as you do, and Nico says they broke up. Tomás is like, “That’s rough. Uh, good talk.” Nico gets all up in his face about how if Tomás hurts Luna, Nico will kill him. Sandra’s listening in from behind the counter and she’s all like, omg! Maybe Nico really does like Luna! Maybe she’s been trying to drive them apart for 100 episodes for nothing!

Guido cries in Mansilla’s arms for a bit, then they get down to business: getting Guido back into school. Guido’s like, “But how?” and Mansilla’s like, “What do you mean, BUT HOW? What are you, STUPID?” Uh…he was expelled, Mansilla! It’s not like he can just waltz back in! But of course, Mansilla has an idea. I kind of love how Mansilla’s lost all his patience with gently guiding people to the path of righteousness, and now he just steamrolls them into doing what he wants.
In the intervening time, Blas has somehow found out about Mia and Manuel’s dinner, and he’s all offended that she wants to keep lying about their relationship outside of school. Maybe she wants to do that for the same reason she lies about it inside the school, Blas. He wants to tell Papa C they’re dating, again, and Mia talks him out of it, again. Manuel comes in and Mia tells him about the dinner, all while putting Blas’s hands all over her. It’s pretty gross.

There are so many things wrong here. So, so many.
Tomás corners Luna and asks her why she told Nico they were dating. Luna says that she was just trying to get Nico off her back, and Tomás gets all in her face about how maybe Luna really does want to date him. Luna’s like, “Idk, I guess,” and Tomás is like, “Good enough!” They make out.

This is the most random pairing ever. I predict by the end of this show, this entire cast will have swapped spit with each other.
In Mia’s room, Feli is helping her prepare for her dinner. Mia wants to know how Feli’s diet is going, because that’s the closest thing to a plot Feli has going on right now. That, and the fact that she’s suddenly taken to wearing her hair in pigtails.

It’s kind of sad that I didn’t even remember what Feli’s been doing ever since given up her nun dreams. Anyway, Feli says that the diet’s going well, and Mia’s all happy and is like, “Let’s weigh you tomorrow!” Oh, that’s awkward. Feli agrees, but looks a little upset. But let’s move on! Marizza storms in and yells that she knows Sonia and Mia made up the whole thing about Sonia moving to Europe, and Mia’s like, “Sonia’s moving to Europe?”
Continuing his grand tradition of crossing boundaries whenever the hell he wants, Mansilla is hanging out in Pablo’s room when he and Tomás come back. He’s like, “I can’t believe you guys haven’t used the power of friendship to get Guido back yet!” I can’t believe Mansilla is expecting Tomás and Pablo to be proactive about anything, ever. Their little tête-à-tête is interrupted by Dunoff, who says that he need to talk to Mansilla IMMEDIATELY. Mansilla’s like, “Come on in, I’m sure the kids won’t mind at all if you hang out in their room.” Dunoff hands over a piece of paper and chirps that Etchamendi has signed off on Mansilla’s dismissal. It’s cute how he seems to be under the impression that Mansilla’s just going to leave. Mansilla’s all, “Aw hell no, this show isn’t called Rebelde Way for nothing!” and storms off to go yell at Etchamendi.

Pablo and Tomás go out and look at his car, and wonder if they should go see Guido. While they’re pondering, some guy walks by holding a poster advertising Pepsi. HEE! Just when I thought they couldn’t get less subtle. Tomás gets in the car, on the driver’s side, and says that they should go find Guido. They’re gonna let Tomás drive? Oh, this will end well. Can he even read the road signs?

Night falls, and Mercedes and Papa C prepare for their dinner. Mercedes brings up the possibility that Mia and Manuel’s relationship is just a cover for Mia’s relationship with Blas. Man, Mercedes is evil, but also much smarter than everyone else on this show. Papa C’s like, “Ohoho, the very idea!” He leaves to go check on the car, and Mercedes calls up Luz and is like, “Hey, do you want to come wreck our dinner?” Meanwhile, Manuel comes to escort Mia out, and they do their usual UST-charged-sniping-at-each-other thing. Mia tells him not to forget that she’s really going out with Blas, and he’s like, “That’s fine, because I’m really interested in Luz.” What? Did he…forget that she sold Mia out to Papa C? Whatever.
Luna’s helping out Sandra in the cafeteria and Sandra’s like, “You look so sad! You know what would make you feel better? GOGURT.” Admittedly, Gogurt always cheered me up when I was like, ten. Sandra’s like, “It’s so nice that you’re dating Tomás, but I’m really gonna miss that boy detective you were dating. I mean, I know I was trying to break you guys up for a while there, but bygones! P.S. did you know he broke up with his girlfriend?” Luna is all sad.
Mia, Manuel, Papa C, and Mercedes are having the most awkward dinner ever. Manuel’s getting his tongue all over Mia’s hand while she barely pretends to not hate him. And then Luz shows up! And then Papa C leaves them all alone! A recipe for disaster, surely. Luz starts putting her hands all over Manuel, so Mia pops the bottle of champagne and sprays Luz and Mercedes with it. Hee. Papa C makes Mia go help Mercedes wash off, and she purposely rips Mercedes’s blouse while “helping” her. Mercedes flips her shit; meanwhile, while everyone’s away, Manuel and Luz start holding hands and shit. Man, Manuel has the memory of a goldfish.

Pablo and Tomás are back in his room, waxing romantic over how awesome driving the car was. So…I guess they forgot to look for Guido? Anyway, Marizza comes in and tries to rope Pablo into racing his car against Simon again, he says no again and she’s like, “Fine, I’ll find someone else who has a car and is willing to crash it for me!” Amazingly, she does: she hits up Facundo, who apparently has all kinds of weird connections all over this town, and is still hung up enough on Marizza to do whatever she wants. Love yourself, Facundo.
Mansilla bangs into the teachers’ lounge and Renata’s all, “Before you ask, it was totally me who got you kicked out.” Mansilla tries to get all self-righteous about how Renata’s abusing her shady relationship with Etchamendi, but she shuts him down: he’s the one who is shady! Apparently, Mansilla is banned from entering the US. Ooooh. She’s like, “Are you sure you want to stay on here?” and Mansilla’s like, “Pfft, your blackmail means nothing to me.”

Sandra hits up Marizza for information about what went down between Nico and Luna, and Marizza admits that Nico’s mom broke them up somehow. Sandra’s like, “Oh hell no.”
Guido has gone to see Marcos, of all people. Marcos is all indignant, and Guido’s like, “Aw, so you’d miss me if I wasn’t there?” and Marcos is like, “Yeah, who are we going to laugh at now?” Guido’s like, “…oh.” Anyway, Marcos bitters that he’s sick of being in the hospital, and he has to leave and hunt down Lujan stat. Guido has an idea, and says that he’ll help Marcos see “that girl” tonight. Is it not already tonight? I don’t know. Either way, like five minutes later, Marcos is at Elite Way, knocking on Lujan’s door. He’s like, “I must know the name of the guy you like!” She’s like, “Fine, it’s Diego!” Marcos is like, “Which Diego?” Hee.
(It turns out that Guido takes Marcos’s place in the hospital, and gets a needle in his ass for his trouble. Aw. That’s real friendship.)

Back at the restaurant, Luz and Manuel are still flirting. Luz is like, “I swear I didn’t send that letter,” and Manuel’s like, “Omg, you’re so right.” Mia catches wind of this, so she stalks up and starts making out with Manuel. Papa C’s like, “See, they’re totally in love!” Luz and Mercedes are not pleased. Mia and Manuel return to school, and Mia chirps that they’re going to have to keep up the ruse, for Papa C’s benefit. Manuel’s like, “Aw hell no, Luz lets me get to second base.” Don’t deny the fake dating trope, Manuel! Mia gets all up in his face and thanks him for believing her over Luz, and Manuel’s like, “Dang, this is a lot of UST,” and they start making out. Musical interlude time!

You knew it was coming.
After the video of “Te soñé” is over, Manuel says that now he’s fake-kissed her, ergo, they’re even. An excellent time for Blas to walk in! He’s all upset, Mia’s all like, “We must fake date so I don’t get kicked out of the band and you don’t get fired,” blah blah they’ve had this conversation like ten times before blah. Cowed by the threat of losing his underage hookup, Blas is like, “Fine, fake date Manuel, whatever.”
Then Blas decides to go…look for Manuel? Whatever. It’s just an excuse for him to knock on Lujan’s door, and Marcos is forced to hide. Lujan gets rid of Blas, and then Marizza and Luna come in. They’re like, “Omg, we’re so tired, we must start undressing right now!” while Lujan feebly tries to stop them. ~So wacky~ Marcos falls out of the closet and nearly has an asthma attack at seeing Luna in her bra (aw, Marcos). He’s like, “…I should probably go.” Marizza and Luna are all twitterpated that Lujan’s getting somewhere with Marcos.

At Casa Colucci, Luz tells Mercedes that she invited Manuel over to hook up with her (what, does Luz live at Casa Colucci now?). They plot to have Mercedes and Papa C walk in on Manuel and Luz, and then Papa C will see that Mia and Manuel aren’t dating. “I love it!” cackles Mercedes. What they don’t count on, though, is Blas’s love of cockblocking Manuel. Back at school, Blas catches Manuel sneaking out and sends him back to his room. Mercedes tries to convince Papa C that Mia and Manuel are lying to him — “Haven’t you noticed that Manuel acts weird around you?” she asks. Wow, I hate that Mercedes is a villain, because I have been waiting forever for someone to figure Manuel out. Anyway, Manuel does not show up to mack it with Luz, and Papa C’s like, “I’m beginning to suspect you are not entirely on the up and up.” Foiled again, Mercedes!
Sonia looks over all her various Marizza-related things and starts crying. Do you think maybe she’ll be too sad to go to Spain?

Aw, this one is actually really cute.
The next day, Mia tries to weigh Feli, and Feli’s like, “Gotta do something first!” She runs off to the bathroom and throws up before letting Mia weigh her. Oh, hi, Feli’s bulimia, haven’t seen you in a while. Mia’s like, “Omg, you’ve lost weight!” and Feli goes all crazy-eyed in her glee. Mia is bummed over Sonia, and Feli’s like, “Why don’t you just call your uncle and ask if Sonia’s really moving to Spain?” Mia’s like, “Oh wow, that actually makes sense.” Luca confirms, and a whole bunch of scare chords go off. “No…no…” Mia says, and I was waiting for her to shriek, “No puede ser!”, but she doesn’t 🙁

Papa C tells Luca that maybe he made a mistake inviting Mercedes to move in. Luca’s like, “That’s rough, bro.”
Mansilla rolls up to teach class as normal, and Etchamendi and Renata come storming in to stop him. Etchamendi says Mansilla’s been fired, and of course all the kids are all, “How very dare!” Pablo stands up, and Etchamendi’s like, “Who the hell are you?” and Pablo’s like, “I’m Pablo Bustamante, and my father is the inventor of the Toaster Strudel!” Just kidding, not that last part. Mansilla lets it slip that Renata is responsible for his firing, and all the kids turn (even more) on her. Renata’s like, “Oh, yeah, well did you know that Mansilla is banned from the US because he’s a MURDERER?” Everyone’s like, “Oh. We didn’t know that.”
