Rebelde Way 2×060: That’ll Show ‘Em

Previously on Rebelde Way: All of Bianca’s friends are terrible, except for Rocco, who is a good person, just with terrible hair. Sabrina is still trying — and honestly, succeeding — at breaking up Mia and Manuel. Then again, it’s not like that’s hard, since Manuel seems to be entirely ruled by his dick at this point.

So Sabrina’s tricked Marizza into running off, and the second Marizza leaves, Sabrina whips out her cell phone and calls Mia. But then Marizza comes back and Sabrina has to hang up, leaving Mia all, “Hello? Hello?” on the other end. Mia figures it was a wrong number and moves on with her life. Well, that was completely anticlimactic. But don’t worry, I’m sure Manuel will keep dicking around with Sabrina and there will be many more opportunities for Mia to find out.

Meanwhile, back at school, Bianca’s mom has showed up looking for her. Blas confronts Rocco about her whereabouts, and Rocco says that Bianca ran away. He’s like, “Yeah, I saw her leave –” “Did she say anything to you?” Bianca’s mom asks. “Yeah, she gave me the ‘rock on’ sign,” Rocco says. Hee. Bianca’s mom is this close to flipping the desk over. Whatever, Bianca’s mom. This school loses track of everyone’s kids, you’re not special.

Mia finds Manuel and starts going on about how Marizza lied to her, and how could she do this to Mia. Manuel’s like, “Oh, well, you know Marizza, always playing jokes! This was TOTALLY another one of her jokes, because that’s just how she rolls, you know how she is, it’s so like her to make you think I was cheating on you, right? So clearly a joke. So totally untrue.” Mia’s like, “Whatever, now I have to get revenge on her.” Manuel says that since they’re here, they might as well help. Because they’re…at Martavio’s sad orphan house, suddenly. How did they even get here? When did they decide on this? OH MY GOD, WHATEVER.

So they go in and this is very clearly a photo op to show Luisana Lopilato and Felipe Colombo being cute with kids. I mean, anything helps, and I’m sure those kids loved getting a visit from two teen idols, but — I’m just saying. This show is not subtle. Mia has trouble scooping food onto the plate, because ha ha, she’s soooo bad at being useful, get it? SIGH. Then Marizza shows up, too. I guess Benjamin Rojas wasn’t invited to this party.

Rocco calls Bianca and tells her that her mom is here and is flipping the fuck out. Bianca starts feeling all guilty, but Rocco tells her not to back down. “Here’s what we’re going to do,” he says, and of course we do not get to find out what exactly they are going to do.

Pablo, Guido, and Tomás are trying to bail from school, but Lola and Augustina insist on following them around. They try to get them to go elsewhere, but Lola whines that they have nowhere else to go. So Pablo gives them his apartment keys. This will end well. Pablo and Guido’s dumb asses sigh that Lola and Augustina are adorable. “They’re like eleven years old,” Tomás says, disgusted. HEE.

Lujan’s on the phone with…someone. Fake Luciano? She sounds way too chirpy to be talking to him, but who knows. She gushes that they’re TOTALLY gonna infiltrate Harex Industries, and it’s gonna be amazing. Blas comes up behind her and asks if he heard her correctly: “Did you say Harex Industries?” Lujan’s saved by Dunoff, amazingly. He comes up and he’s all, “Step away from the underage girls, Blas!”

Sol and Pilar go to the spa with Mia’s coupon. They get face masks put on, and Pilar’s like, “Uh, is it supposed to sting?” but Sol’s like, “I bet that’s just the exfoliating properties!” They chat a bit as they wait for the masks to work; Pilar asks Sol why she chose Feli for her best friend. “Who says she’s my best friend?” Sol snarks. Oh, ouch. Then she butters Pilar up by saying that actually, she was originally interested in another girl as her best friend — a really smart, pretty girl. “Fernanda?” Pilar asks. “No, you,” Sol says. Pilar is all flattered, and Sol keeps waxing on that she and Pilar have a hard time at the school because they’re both just so pretty and everyone is jealous of them. “You know, I think pretty girls have it just as hard — or harder! — than ugly ones,” Sol sighs. Heh. Pilar whines that if she’s so pretty, how come no boys like her? Hey, Tomás was going to make out with you way back in the day. She should try again, he doesn’t discriminate. Anyway, Sol says Pilar should go on a double date with her and Leo tonight.

Rocco tells Bianca’s mom that Bianca sent him an email, and Bianca’s mom starts crying all over again that Bianca doesn’t want to talk directly to her. “Uh, but the important thing is that she’s doing well!” Rocco derps. Heh. Oh, Rocco.

Back at the sad orphan house, Manuel pulls Marizza over to the side. He’s all, “How is Sabrina? Is she well? Oh, I should have never abandoned my beautiful fragile chrysanthemum!” Marizza snaps that Sabrina’s fine, and she doesn’t want to talk about her, because Marizza doesn’t like her. Then why are you helping Manuel cheat with her, huh, Marizza? She starts yelling that Sabrina seems fake, and she yells loud enough to attract Mia’s attention. “Who’s fake?” Mia asks, and Marizza’s like, “Uh…you! YOUR FACE IS!” and Manuel has to hold Mia back from jumping on her. Mia and Marizza keep sniping at each other for the rest of the visit; they do a performance of “Invento” for the kids and keep trying to knock each other around. Martavio eventually shows up and is all appalled that Marizza would set such a bad example for the children. He stops their performance, and he’s all, “This is a disgrace!” “Yeah, a disgrace!” Manuel says, like it’s not HIS FAULT that Marizza covered for him and made Mia think that she was playing a mean prank on her. Get out of here, Manuel!!! I hate you and your stupid frosted tips!! You’re so 2003 it hurts!!!

Blas manages to catch Lujan leaving the school, and she BSes that Sonia told her about Harex Industries, because they need something for the cheer squad. Blas is suspicious, but lets her go. Lujan meets up with Fake Luciano and gives him the address for Harex Industries. They note that he won’t be able to get into the building dressed like that, and…I think Lujan says that Fake Luciano can borrow some of Marcos’s clothes that he left at the clinic, except Marcos has banned her from visiting. I say “I think” because they talk like the needing clothes and visiting the clinic are related, but then they go by the clinic and don’t bother to get any clothes at all. Well, whatever.

So Fake Luciano’s like, “Fuck HIPAA!” and drags Lujan off to the clinic. They won’t let her in, so Fake Luciano offers to go in for her, and to tell Mama Aguilar that Lujan loves her. Lujan is all twitterpated that Fake Luciano is doing this for her. Marcos comes by and sees Lujan sitting outside the clinic, and he gets all mad that she came back against his wishes. So Fake Luciano comes back out and punches Marcos in the gut. HEE! Whatever, Marcos’s jerky jerkface had that coming.

Pablo, Guido, and Tomás are back at the butcher shop, working for their money like plebes. Well, Tomás and Pablo are working — Tomás looks quite fetching in the butcher’s hat, actually — while Guido sips tea and gives orders.

Some hot girl wanders up and Guido hits on her. What? Bro, you literally made up with Augustina like yesterday! But then he asks if she’s paying cash or card, and she pulls a gun on them. Dude, what the fuck! Also, Pablo and Tomás don’t look nearly as worried about this as they should.

“A gun? That’s worrisome, I guess.”

Laura catches up to Lola and tells she has news from home, but Lola’s all snippy and blows her off. She and Augustina are about to head out to Pablo’s apartment — although Augustina lies to Laura and says they’re going to her house — and then Lola’s like, “Oh shit, I forgot Bianca!” She runs off and finds Rocco in the cafeteria (“How do you eat so much and stay thin?” Ana’s asking. “It’s the rock ‘n’ roll,” Rocco says. Hee!), but Rocco snarks at her that it’s a little late for her to be worried about Bianca, isn’t it? Burn. Lola chases him around a bit longer before Rocco says that Bianca’s been hiding in the laundry room, being salty that Lola abandoned her.

Lola goes to apologize to Bianca, and then Bianca weirdly says that this has nothing to do with her. Bianca, you literally hid out in the laundry room all day just to sulk. Whatever. Bianca starts rambling about how she wanted to prove that she could be ~rebelde~ too, by freaking her mom out. But now her jig is probably up. Lola’s like, “Messing with our parents has no expiration date!” and says she’ll help Bianca keep up the ruse.

Pablo, Guido, and Tomás are still being held up at the butcher shop. Guido’s mom has been taken hostage — nooo, not his adorable mom! — and Pablo trades places with her. Aw! The boys fork over all the cash in the register, and the random chick pistol-whips Pablo and runs off with the money. The police come, along with a news crew, and naturally Pablo’s face is broadcast all over Buenos Aires. Mama Guido weeps over how Pablo saved her life, and Guido is all salty that his mom likes Pablo better than him. Maybe it’s because you’re a massive fucking jerk to her, Guido.

Martavio lectures Marizza on how violence is never the answer. Ha! Martavio, you are on the wrong show, my friend. He says he knows why she’s mad at Mia — it’s because Mia is going to be her stepsister, and Marizza’s uncomfy with that. Marizza’s like, “Say WHAT?”

Rocco goes looking for Bianca, and Blas busts him in the laundry room. He hauls Rocco off to talk to Mama D and Bianca’s mom, but Rocco just BSes that Bianca is off…growing…and changing…as a person. Mama D groans that they should bring in Pilar. Being that she’s eavesdropping on everyone in the school at all times, she’s bound to know something. Blas gulps that he doesn’t know where Pilar is. See? I told you that you weren’t special, Bianca’s mom!

Sol and Pilar get their face masks taken off and their skin is a mess, as you might have guessed. And they have their double date tonight! What do! Oh, whatever, this is why concealer was invented.

Marizza, Manuel, and Mia leave the sad orphan house, and Mia confronts Marizza. She tells Marizza that she doesn’t know why Marizza is so mean to her sometimes, but it really hurts her feelings, and she doesn’t like being messed with like this. Aw, Mia! I love her so deeply, and I especially love that she’s just flat-out talking about her feeling and not running the risk of telenovela confusion here. Manuel finally mans up and says that he can explain, and then Marizza throws herself under the bus for him again. MARIZZA, WHY? She BSes that she just likes to see Mia in hysterics, and OH MY GOD, STOP COVERING FOR MANUEL’S CHEATING ASS. Mia gets mad at her again, but then Martavio comes up and drags Marizza off. Hopefully to lecture her on her terrible taste in boys!

Laura comes in to help Rocco find Bianca, only to find that now Lola’s gone, and she and Augustina aren’t at Augustina’s house like they said they’d be. Where could they have gone?!

Aaaand cut to Lola and Augustina dancing around Pablo’s apartment, while Bianca spaces out staring at his lava lamp. I now have a pretty good idea what Bianca would be like as a stoner. Laura gets the bright idea to call the apartment, and Lola picks up. Laura doesn’t say anything and hangs up, and tattles to Mama D that she knows where Bianca is.

Papa C and Sonia hang out and banter cutely a bit. Their talk turns serious, about how they didn’t like each other because they each had prejudices. Oooh, would you say that they had…pride and prejudice? A HA HA. Anyway, Papa C admits that he was afraid of being hurt again, and Sonia says that she didn’t like that Papa C lied to Mia about her mom — but now that she has to lie to Marizza about Martavio, she understands him. They put their faces real close together and OH MY GOD THEY ARE ABOUT TO FINALLY KISS! And then Martavio and Marizza walk in. Go away, Martavio! Nobody likes you!

Papa B naturally catches Pablo on television, the way he does literally any time Pablo makes a public appearance.

Someone rings the doorbell to Pablo’s apartment, and Bianca immediately freaks out that someone knows where she is. What? Bianca, it could be literally anyone. Just look through the peephole! Anyway, it’s Mama D and Bianca’s mom, and they find Bianca. Bianca’s mom says that she’s pulling Bianca out of Elite Way. This would be dramatic if it weren’t for the fact that Elite Way is like Hotel California. You can check out, but you can never leave!

Manuel and Mia are still over by the sad orphan house, and Manuel gives credit to Marizza, re: doing charity work there. Mia rants to Manuel that it’s annoying when Manuel defends Marizza, seeing as Marizza goes out of her way to insult Mia constantly. She’s not wrong. Everyone on this show does Mia so dirty. Manuel FINALLY tells her that Marizza was covering for him, because he was with Sabrina. Dump his ass, Mia!
