Previously on Rebelde Way: Marizza walked in on Martavio and Sonia discussing how they were ever going to tell Marizza the truth! Will Marizza finally find out what they’re talking about? No, of course not. Martavio makes up some excuse about how she’s in trouble with Dunoff, but not really, so let’s just forget this whole thing. Marizza’s like, “Oh, okay then.” Once she leaves, Martavio tells Sonia that he agrees with her idea, to keep the truth from Marizza until she’s an adult. But, creepily, he adds that he won’t let anyone keep him from his daughter, either.
Over in the slightly more comedic plotline, Mia pries Sabrina off of Manuel and is like, “Oh, how nice, you came to see my boyfriend.” Sabrina says she came to talk to Manuel about donating all his clothes to the sick children, and Papa C is all charmed by how Noble and Selfless she is. He and Manuel start waxing on about how generous Sabrina is and how Mia could learn something from her. Mia is pissed, and tries to tell Manuel that they have Erreway rehearsal, and Manuel’s like, “No, you go ahead, I’ll stay here and help Sabrina.” Manuel is the worst.

Sonia tells Hilda her decision to keep the truth from Marizza. “I’ll tell her when she’s older, when she has children of her own, and she’ll be able to understand,” Sonia says. Wait, what? I thought they meant they would hide the truth until Marizza was like 20 or something. Until she has kids of her own? That’s fucked up. Anyway, Hilda says that from the outside, Sonia doesn’t look like a good mother — she’s always off doing her burlesque show, and she sent Marizza to the dumpster fire that is Elite Way School (hee!), but deep down, Sonia’s a good mom. That’s such a backhanded compliment. Their moment is interrupted by Lujan, who asks Sonia if she’s familiar with Harex Industries. Sonia says she might know someone there, and Lujan asks for her help.

Only Marizza and Mia show up to the Erreway meeting, and Mia is all emo over Manuel. Marizza hauls her off for some girl talk — the boys come in, but Marizza’s like, “Out of the way, Mia’s in her feelings.” Manuel has the grace to feel at least a little bad, although his dumb ass doesn’t realize that Mia doesn’t like him constantly gassing up another girl.
Vico’s dad comes home while she’s cleaning, and she asks how work went. Apparently he’s home early, and Vico nervously tells him that she wasn’t expecting him back so soon, so the cleaning’s not done and there’s no food ready. Her dad flips out on her that HE’S HUNGRY, DAMMIT, AND HE WANTS REAL FOOD, and he doesn’t WORK ALL DAY (bro, you didn’t even do 8 hours) TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS! EVERYONE MISTREATS HIM, LIKE VICO’S MOM, AND HER BROTHER, AND HIS LIFE IS SOOOO HARD. Vico’s brother is a dick to everyone, man, you aren’t special. Vico gets all sniffly and says she’s here for him, and she’ll make him dinner right away, but he snarls that he’s not hungry anymore. Oh, wait, but now he is. Poor Vico.

Mia cries to Marizza about Manuel and Sabrina. “Am I really that shallow and stupid?” she sniffles. Aw, Mia! Marizza has the grace to look a little guilty, but she’s like, “Uh…WELL, maybe we could do a good deed to make you look better.” She also agrees that she finds Sabrina a little sus. They go to the Erreway meeting, and Manuel’s like, “Ooh, we could do another benefit show at Sabrina’s hospital!” Mia and Marizza shut that idea down, saying that they’re already working on a charity concert…uh, elsewhere! For another purpose! Then they have to work out where to rehearse, and Pablo offers up his apartment. Uh, didn’t they already do that? And the neighbors made a noise complaint that led to Pablo getting in trouble? Whatever.

Lujan looks over the homework that Marcos did for her, although of course she thinks it was Diego who did it. “I never knew he was so smart!” she gushes. Still, since she didn’t do the homework herself, she doesn’t really understand what it’s about. Laura tells her to go ask Diego. Then Sonia swings by and tells Lujan that she does indeed have a contact at Harex Industries; she gives Lujan the number for a Mr. Garcia. Sonia’s like, “Sigh, good luck, I hope this works out for you, because NOTHING IN MY LIFE IS WORKING OUT,” before leaving dramatically. Lujan and Laura are like, “Ooookay.”
Lujan runs over to Diego and asks him to explain chem to her. Diego’s like, “I’m only slightly smarter than Tomás, why are you asking me?” and Lujan’s like, “…because you did this homework for me?” and Diego’s like, “I most certainly did not.”

After the Erreway meeting, Mia cries to Manuel that she’s always trying to make him happy, but it’s never enough. Like how she didn’t join the cheerleading squad because he didn’t want her to! Manuel’s like, “Say what?” and tells her that he would love for her to join the squad, because then they could spend more time together at rugby games or whatever. Mia then switches to whining about Sabrina, and Manuel’s like, “I would never cheat on her with you!” He’s lying to you, Mia!

Marizza runs into Feli, and tells her she wants to meet Lujan in the courtyard. Feli’s like, “Well, that would be a little awkward, on account of uh, Fernanda and Marcos.” Marizza’s dumb ass is like, “What’s up with Fernanda and Marcos?” and when Feli tells her that they’re a thing now, Marizza’s all surprised. What? You only saw Fernanda hitting on him at every turn, Marizza. Marizza says they shouldn’t tell Lujan, and runs off, leaving her snacks behind. “Are you gonna leave this? Okay, she left them,” Feli says, and starts eating them. Oh, Feli.

At Casa Vico, her dad berates her for not cooking him a four-course meal or some shit. When she suggests that maybe it’s not fair to expect her to clean his entire house and also cook him dinner, he’s like, “Then what are you here for then?” Vico snaps that she won’t put up with this anymore, and he starts yelling that he’s going to teach her to respect her father. YIKES.
Manuel takes Mia to the cupboard under the stairs, and they make out, while “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera plays in the background. God, 2003 was amazing. He starts trying to take her clothes off — but he’s not trying to pressure her into sex or anything — even though she already told him she wasn’t ready — and for the love of God, please stop closing in on 15-year-old Luisana Lopilato’s bare midriff and shoulders — and then they’re interrupted by Dunoff, storming around outside yelling for Manuel.

Laura tries to tell Marizza that Sonia’s acting weird. “My mom’s not acting weird, she just is weird,” Marizza says. Heh. Laura tries to tell her that Sonia’s really in a state, but Marizza changes the subject to Lujan. Laura mentions that Lujan went off to ask Diego for help with the chem homework, and Marizza groans that now Lujan’s gonna find out that Diego didn’t really do them. It’s almost like these wacky plans of yours never work out, Marizza! Learn something from this! Lujan comes back in, and hits Marizza with The Truth: she knows Marcos did her homework, so why did Marizza lie to her? She expects lies from Marcos’s fuckboy ass by now, but not from Marizza! Oh, Lujan, you’re so naive. Lujan gets the idea in her head that in order to preserve her dignity, she has to go thank Marcos for doing her homework. Marizza’s like, “I feel like this is a bad idea?” and Lujan’s all, “Whatever, I do what I want.” Laura, by the way, ran out of the room somewhere in the middle of all this. Hee.

In Pablo’s room, Tomás and Guido get calls from Sol and Mateo, respectively. Sol’s all, “Hi, Tomás, I definitely am not cheating on you at all!” and Mateo’s all, “Dude, this Sol chick is totally cheating on her boyfriend with me!” Mateo tells Guido that he’s talking Sol to a nightclub, and Guido and Pablo plot to get Tomás there.

Lujan confronts Marcos about doing her homework. She thanks him and they get all smiley about how they still liiiike each other and OH HI FERNANDA. Lujan bails out of there while Fernanda macks on Marcos, and Marcos stares after her. Oh, sure, so he was all over Fernanda when he was with Lujan, and now that Fernanda’s his girlfriend, he likes Lujan again? Fuck off, Marcos.

I swear to God, you guys, I can never tell if Marcos has unfortunate facial hair or if it’s just a very weird shadow.
Papa B listens to Pablo’s tapped phone, and hears him bribing the school guard to let him sneak out. Pablo’s dumb ass names the time and the club he’s going to, too, so Papa B knows where he’ll be.

I guess Manuel and Mia escaped detection, because it’s now nighttime and Blas is serving Manuel with some more rugby practices. Manuel bleats that he can’t just change the schedule like this, and Blas snipes that he would’ve warned Manuel earlier, if only anyone could’ve found him. Manuel’s like, “Uh…nevermind, rugby practice it is!” and runs away.
Rocco’s just randomly wandering around the streets looking for ghosts. God, I love him. He conveniently runs into Vico, who’s left her dad’s house looking a mess. He follows her back to school, where Blas sees her state of disarray and is like, “The hell happened to you?” He notes that Vico was supposed to be at her dad’s house, and Vico tries to cover and says that she wasn’t. Rocco pops up and backs her up, saying that they were together. This is obviously Against the Rules, and Blas is like, “Woo, it’s punishing time!” Rocco and Vico look at each other all shocked, like they’re new or something.

Lujan cries to Marizza that Fernanda and Marcos are dating for real. Laura, God love her, is like, “Yeah…everyone knew that.” Marizza’s like, “Damn, so Feli was right,” and Lujan flips out that Marizza knew but didn’t tell her.
Pablo and Guido have to drag Tomás to the club kicking and screaming, but they get there. They make up this whole needlessly complex story about how Guido’s going to go see if this girl he likes is in there, and if she is they have to all go in and WHY DON’T YOU GUYS JUST GO, ALREADY. Mateo and Sol are there, making out, and Guido runs back to get Pablo and Tomás. They’re all about to go in, when Papa B rolls up and catches them. He hustles them back to school, and Sol lives to cheat on Tomás another day.

Mia freaks out to Vico and Feli that she almost went all the way with Manuel. She wails that she’s not ready, and Feli backs her up: “You have to say, ‘This is my body, and I’m taking care of it.’” Vico’s like, “That’s dumb, you gotta have sex with your boyfriend or he’ll dump you.” Oh, Vico. Mia frets that she doesn’t know how to tell Manuel she’s not ready. Poor Mia.

Meanwhile, Manuel’s telling Francisco that Mia almost let him in her pants. Francisco’s like, “Aw, yis, so how are you going to get there?” Manuel gushes about how he feels closer to Mia than ever, after they almost nearly died on that island together and all, and he wants to tell her how in love he is and how their relationship should go to the next level. So he’s not entirely just trying to get his dick wet, somewhat to his credit. Francisco is no help at all, because he just starts waxing on about how he wishes he could have sex with Sabrina. This isn’t about you, Francisco. Then Marcos comes in and says he has a card for Francisco — Francisco’s like, “Is it from Sabrina?!” — but then he opens up and he’s all, “It can’t be!”

Back at Sonia’s house: “I don’t like lying,” Hilda frets. Well, if you want to hang around Sonia, you’re gonna have to do a lot of it, Hilda! Sonia wants Hilda’s help covering up the whole Martavio thing; she knows Marizza’s going to eventually notice that Sonia’s acting weird and figure out that something’s going on. Hilda’s like, “Well, you have to act normal. Go back to work, start going out again…” Yeah, when was the last time Sonia went to work? Doesn’t she have a show to be doing? Don’t tell me this show is passing up opportunities to put Catherine Fulop in uncomfortably audience-inappropriate outfits.
Then Papa C shows up, and says he and Sonia are going out to dinner. Sonia points out that she’s in her pajamas, and she doesn’t want to go out. “When I say no, I mean no,” she says. “And I don’t take no for an answer,” Papa C says, and picks her up and carries her out. Wow, they’re really committed to making all the guys trash this season. They go to dinner and Papa C gives Sonia a pep talk, telling her not to be bossed around by Martavio. He’s all, “You’re a smart, strong, sensual woman!”

The note for Francisco turns out to be from Laura. She wants to meet with him, but Francisco flips out that she’s friendzoned him one too many times. He is a man going his own way, and he won’t meet with Laura just because she tells him to! She is trying to control him with her body! Marcos is like, “Good point, women are all hysterical, they don’t know what they want!” What on EARTH is Marcos becoming? “So…you’re not going?” Manuel derps.
Pablo wonders how his dad found out that they were going to the club. Well, Pablo, think back and figure out how many people you specifically told that you were going to a club called 9-0, at night, after you snuck out of school. Tomás says only the three of them knew, so one of them is a TRAITOR! Dun dun dun!
Mia asks Feli why she’s trying to keep Mia off the cheerleading squad. Who said Manuel didn’t want her on the team? Feli’s like, “Um, um, I don’t remember.” “You don’t remember, or you don’t want to tell me it was Sol?” Mia asks. OH SNAP. Thankfully, this finally wakes Feli up to the fact that Sol isn’t really her friend, and she’s just trying to fuck with Mia. On the other hand, Mia tells Feli in a very unnecessarily creepy way that NOTHING WILL EVER SEPARATE THEM. Slow your roll, Hannibal Lecter.

Vico asks Rocco why he stuck up for her, and Rocco says, “Because I think you’re worth it.” Aw! She says if he really knew her, he wouldn’t think so, but he says he’d like her no matter what. Vico’s all twitterpated. Then Blas cuts in, telling Vico that her dad is here. Rocco goes to meet him in her stead, and tells him that Vico’s spending the night at a classmate’s house. Vico’s dad gets all threateny, but Rocco stands up to him, and Vico is twitterpated (again, some more).

Francisco’s dumb ass goes to meet Laura anyway. He’s all, “Just so you know, I am SUPER IN LOVE with Sabrina, and nothing you say can change my mind!” and Laura’s like, “Okay…that has nothing to do with what I’m asking you, but okay.” She wants him to help her out with Lola. Francisco’s like, “Not this shit again.” Laura asks him to pretend to be Lola’s invisible friend, but Francisco says no. Whatever, I give it about five minutes before he gives in.
Pablo finally remembers that he was going around telling God and everyone where the club was and what time they were leaving. He realizes Papa B’s tapping his phone. Guido, of course, makes the whole thing about himself, whining that it hurt so bad that Pablo thought he would betray him. Shut up, Guido. Pablo and Tomás, bless them, start whining “Poor baby” at Guido and trying to kiss him. Hee. But then they get down to business: though they were interrupted, they brought Tomás to the club for a reason. Sol is cheating on him! Wow, can’t believe we didn’t get a “No puede ser” out of Tomás.

The next day, Marizza and Lujan talk out — or yell out, considering their personalities — their problems. Lujan confesses that she’s super depressed over Marcos — she doesn’t want to study, or even live. Damn, Lujan, chill out. Marizza has to give her a whole speech about not killing yourself over a boy, and they hug and make up.

Manuel delivers flowers and a card to Mia’s door, as part of his campaign to get into her pants. Vico’s the only one who figures out what’s going on: “It looks like he wants to finish what you guys started last night.” Mia and Feli are like, “Ugh, you’re ruining the romance of it!” Whatever, she’s not wrong.

Manuel asks Pablo to borrow his apartment keys so he can hook up with Mia. Pablo’s like, “Get down with your bad self!” and lends him the keys. Heh.

Lola finds another card from her “invisible friend”, and the camera pulls back to reveal Francisco watching her. OF COURSE HE DID IT. Francisco is weak, so very weak.

Rocco told Vico’s dad that she would call him tomorrow, so now he’s bugging her to do it. She pretends to call home just to get him off her back, but the second he’s gone, she hangs up without talking to her dad. Then Mia runs up and tells Vico that Manuel wants to meet with her in Pablo’s apartment — that way, they can talk where it’s quiet! Oh, Mia, you sweet summer child. Mia says that she’ll just tell Manuel she’s not ready and he’ll have to respect that, and Vico’s like, “Ah, you haven’t had all your expectations crushed by men yet.”
Marizza tries to get Lujan’s mind off of Marcos by bringing up things she likes: sports? Violence? Investigating Blas? Lujan says she and Vico are making some progress on Blas, and once they figure out what Harex Industries is, they’re going to get “The Monkey” to infiltrate it. “Guido?” Marizza asks. HA! No, Lujan means Fake Luciano. Marizza is pleased that it sounds like Lujan’s moving on. But then Lujan sees Marcos and Fernanda macking it in the hall, and gets all sad again. Marizza tells Lujan to forget about Marcos, but then Gloria rocks up and tells him that something’s happened to his mom. Lujan! Don’t perform any emotional labor for him! He doesn’t deserve you…oh, dammit, she is not going to listen to me, is she?
