Previously on Elite Way: Erreway and New Erreway are having concerts this weekend! What could possibly go wrong, besides all their infighting and song-stealing and love drama? Well, Dunoff could also schedule a parent-student bonding workshop on the very weekend of the concerts. That could also happen.
Anyway, what shall we do about this problem? Shall we meet and discuss it? No, let’s just go our separate ways and fight with our roommates. Mia goes to needle Sol some more, and Feli chooses to stick up for Sol. Mia and Vico are like, “The fuck, Feli?”
Marizza tells New Erreway that they have to go ahead with the concert, because it’s the Right Thing to Do. Seriously, why can’t they just reschedule? Whatever. Fernanda’s like, “I don’t really like you guys enough to get expelled for you,” and Marizza’s like FINE and Fernanda’s like FINE! Belen, though, grows a spine and says she’ll stick with the band. They decide to cut Elite Way’s telephone lines so Dunoff can’t call their parents to schedule the workshop; Dunoff gets cut off right in the middle of a conversation with Etchamendi. If this were any other school, I’d point out that Dunoff has at least 24 hours to get the phones fixed, but Elite Way doesn’t even have a janitor, so whatever.

Meanwhile, Manuel wants Lujan to talk to Marcos. He’s like, “Please, please, pretty please, as a favor for a friend?” except her choice is just an illusion, because when she turns around, Marcos is there. (She elbows Manuel right in the gut. Hee!) Marcos’s fuckboy ass whines at Lujan that he doesn’t know why they can’t be friends — he doesn’t even like Fernanda! Fernanda picks that moment to come crying to him about how mean Marizza is, and for once Marcos tells her to fuck off, but Lujan’s already bailed from the conversation.

Manuel asks Blas why he didn’t rat Lujan out to Dunoff, and Blas is like, “None of your business.” Manuel’s like, “Okay, good talk.”
Andres tries to pull his weight around the house, going grocery shopping, but Hilda shits all over his efforts. Hee. Sonia tells Hila about her talk with Martavio, and confesses that she’s not sure Spirito is really Marizza’s father.
Pilar distracts Dunoff, so Marizza can sneak into the office and steal his cell phone. Naturally, Dunoff busts her anyway, and Marizza BSes that she’s here because she wants him to expel Marcos. He broke Lujan’s heart, and that’s just not ethical! Oh, Marizza, Mansilla and his ethics are long, long gone. I think Martavio is meant to be a replacement for Mansilla, in the sort of “rebelde teacher” role, but let’s be real, he’s a poor man’s Mansilla. I hope he and Renata are living it up, wherever they are. Anyway, Dunoff kicks them out of his office, but Marizza makes it out of there with the phone.

Pablo catches up to Marizza and asks why she hasn’t gotten him in trouble for kidnapping her. Marizza’s like, “Eh, I guess it wasn’t that traumatic.” Pablo says, “I think you still kind of love me.” Dial back that ego, Pablo. “How can I love you when not even your family does?” Marizza asks. Damn! Way harsh!

Mia finally suggests that I’ve been saying, which is that they should just reschedule. I mean, I’m thankful someone’s finally thought of it, although I would point out that Erreway can’t really reschedule someone else’s party that they’re booked for. Marizza, on the other hand, could’ve avoided all of this by rescheduling her charity concert, since she’s organizing it herself. Whatever. Anyway, Pablo refuses, because doing so would make sense and then we wouldn’t have a story.
Marizza goes through and erases all the numbers from Dunoff’s phone. Then she gets distracted by a noise from Lujan’s computer, which is…I don’t know what it is. Marizza opens it to see the email Lujan’s sent her tutor about leaving, but Lujan doesn’t have a message back or anything that would’ve made a sound. Whatever. Anyway, Marizza takes it upon herself to send an email on Lujan’s behalf, telling her tutor that nvm, she totally wants to stay at Elite Way after all! Lujan catches her and goes off on her for meddling in her life, and Marizza tells her that she’s being selfish. Lujan gets all emo about how she doesn’t belong in ~this world~, and Marizza snaps that she does, because she’s part of Marizza’s world, and she can’t believe Lujan’s putting a stupid boy before their friendship. Ovaries before brovaries!

Marizza storms off to cry, and she runs into Lola. She’s like, “People are so fake, man,” and Lola’s like, “I know that feel.” Whoa, it’s almost like Lola’s just…a slightly more self-aware expy of Marizza. Then Laura rocks up with the pricing for the venue and the lighting and all that stuff they need for a show, and Marizza flips out. Lola also flips out just from being in Laura’s presence, and storms off. Marizza blabs to Laura about Lola’s fight with Bianca, like way to keep that private.

Guido catches Tomás and Sol together, and warns Tomás about dating her…again. “Think a little bit about what you’re doing,” Guido says. Guido, your first mistake was assuming that Tomás is capable of thinking about anything, ever. Tomás gets mad that Guido and Pablo don’t support his life decisions, and storms off.
Pablo’s all emo over his talk with Marizza. He’s like, “My family does love me! I’ll prove it!”, and calls his brother. His brother (“Felipe”) promptly blows him off, yelling that he’ll never forgive Pablo for what Pablo did to their mom, and he hopes Mama B doesn’t, either. I don’t even remember what Pablo did. Did he testify against her that time or didn’t he? Whatever. Pablo is even more emo now.

Gloria tells Dunoff that she can’t call the parents to schedule the workshop, as none of the phones work. “We’re in the Communication Age, and you can’t find a way to reach them?!” Dunoff yells at her. The future is now! He tells her to use his cell phone, except oops, that’s mysteriously gone missing. Honestly, though — Gloria’s job totally sucks, but she also has excellent job security. Nothing ever goes right, Dunoff blows his top every time, and yet she is never fired.
Lujan’s tutor tells her that he’s found her another school to go to. So…Marizza’s email didn’t go through, then? He tells her that all she has to do is confirm, and he’ll pull her out of Elite Way.
Papa C shows up at school! Hi, Papa C! I have missed you so, please come back and be the one (1) non-zany character on this show. Literally the second after he arrives, Vico rolls up to Mia all, “HEY MIA, READY FOR THE SHOW TONIGHT?” and Papa C’s like, “What show?” Mia’s like, “Vico, what the fuck.” Papa C’s not happy that Mia’s mixed up with Sonia again, and Mia’s like, “I’m fifteen years old and I can do whatever I want!”
Sol rocks up to Marizza — who’s wearing a pretty cute collared-sweater look — and suggests that they wait to hold the concert until after Sol’s fashion campaign. What campaign? She’s just taking photos with that guy, he hasn’t signed her. Oh, whatever. Her logic is that after the campaign, she’ll be mega-famous and will bring more attention to the charity. What, so they’re just gonna postpone the concert until some vague time when Sol is famous? For some reason, Laura thinks this is a good idea — they don’t seem to promise Sol anything, but she scuttles off and tells Tomás anyway. Pablo overhears and wants to know the exact date, but Sol doesn’t have any idea. Tomás cottons on that Pablo wants to fuck shit up, and he’s like, “Aw, come on,” and Pablo snarls that if Erreway doesn’t get to play, nobody does! Man, he and Marizza are so perfect for each other.

After class, Carmen gives Pablo his first assignment, which is the very easy, light read of War and Peace. Pablo’s like, “Dude, what the hell,” and Carmen chirps at him that he’ll just have to skip all his recesses and free time to work on the book.
Lola gets a card telling her what an awesome friend she is. Dante suggests that it’s from Bianca, and Lola’s like, “No, it’s definitely from Marizza.” Dante’s like, “You sure? I mean, you don’t hang out with Marizza that much,” and Lola’s like, “Shut up. It’s from Marizza.” She writes back — damn, she has nice handwriting! — and a ~mysterious person~ picks it up. It’s definitely not Marizza.

Lujan tells Marizza that she’s staying at Elite Way, because Marizza’s here. I mean…I support Lujan not dropping out of school over Marcos’s dumb ass; on the other hand, way to reward Marizza for making Lujan’s heartbreak all about herself. Lujan and Marizza make up.
Papa C tells Sonia to back off of Mia, and Sonia snips that what she does with Mia is none of his business. Well, following that logic, Martavio should be able to hang out with Marizza whenever he wants, so maybe rethink that, Sonia. “Are you afraid that she’s going to leave you just like her mom did?” Sonia asks. Dude! Unnecessary! Papa C tells Sonia to stay away from Mia, and Sonia’s like, “Uh, parents are only allowed to have boundaries when I say so.”

Tomás and Guido come to help Pablo with War and Peace. Please, like they’ve ever read anything that doesn’t have pictures in it. Pablo says he doesn’t have time for this BS; he needs to figure out a way to get his songs back from Marizza, and he…thinks Sol can help accomplish this, for some reason. Tomás doesn’t think Pablo can trick Sol into helping: “She’s smarter than you think!” he tells them. Guido and Pablo laugh at him. If I were Guido, I wouldn’t be laughing at anyone else’s intelligence. Carmen busts them, and assigns them reading, too. Jesus, Carmen. It’s probably going to take them the rest of their natural lives to get through those books. Anyway, Tomás manages to convince Sol to get copies of the songs for them.
Papa C tries to get Manuel on his side, to little effect. He tells Mia that she’s coming with him on a trip this weekend, whether she wants to or not. (To…France? That’s not a weekend trip, Papa C!) Manuel’s like, “Maybe you should listen to your dad. I guess. I don’t really care that much.”
Sonia runs up and says she wants to help with Marizza’s show, and Marizza’s all salty because Sonia was helping Mia, at last check. Sonia’s like, “Well, their show’s not even happening, so whatever,” and Marizza runs off to go talk to Manuel about the concert.

While she’s gone, Sol sneaks into the gym and starts…uh, copying, I guess, the songs to the tape? I don’t know how to use this technology anymore!! Wouldn’t she have to play the CD for it to copy? I don’t know. Anyway, Francisco walks in and busts her, and she BSes that she wants to play them for her model friends or whatever. Francisco’s all mesmerized by her hotness and agrees to help her. “I’ll tell you a secret — I think you’re the cutest boy in class,” she tells him. She says that to all the boys, Francisco! You’re not special!

Papa C signs Mia out for a couple of days, and tells Dunoff that it has to be kept a secret from Sonia Rey. Oh, boy. Dunoff couldn’t keep a secret from Sonia and her boobs if his life depended on it. Plus, he kind of can’t keep Sonia and Mia apart, on account of Sonia kind of being a teacher now. She teaches the girls cooking! It’s a life skill! Papa C is intrigued.
Also, Gloria still can’t find his cell phone. “I’m so alone,” Dunoff wails.
Sonia meets with a bunch of the girls to give her workshop, which involves teaching them how to walk. Because girls can’t just like, walk normally, they have to walk sexily, because women are just decorative objects. I hate this. Anyway, Papa C storms in and he’s like, “This is not a cooking class!”

Francisco gives the tape to Sol right in front of Tomás, and Sol gets her hands and flirting all over him while Tomás watches. I’d feel worse for Tomás if he hadn’t already dated Sol before and therefore he should know what this entails. Tomás hands the tape off to Pablo, who listens to it and says, “No puede ser!” Oh, man, it’s been ages since we ended on a no puede ser! Drink!
