When Mia last left Manuel, he was sick. When she sees him again, he’s…still sick, except now she’s freaking out. Mia, he looked like that the last time you saw him! This is not shocking! Anyway, Manuel wails that he feels baaaad and he’s siiiiick and he didn’t want to be aloooone. Watching a 20-year-old guy acting like a baby is deeply uncomfortable, I gotta add. Maybe if Felipe Colombo were a better actor, but he’s not. It’s kind of interesting that he and Luisana Lopilato are paired together when they’re both really good at exactly one thing (Luisana being cute, Felipe being snarky), but can’t do any heavy lifting at all. Mia and Manuel’s emotional scenes are kind of embarrassing for this reason, and mostly saved because they have good chemistry.

Anyway, Manuel whines that he’s all sniffly and miserable and he didn’t want the housekeeper to change his clothes, because that would be embarrassing, oh the humanity. So he makes Mia do it instead. This is a trap, Mia!
Mia goes to get some medicine, and Manuel stands up and whines at her not to leave. So he can stand up and take his own damn clothes off! Whatever. He wibbles at her that he doesn’t want to be alone (so he can get his germs all over her?) and Mia stays, because she doesn’t love herself.
Back at school, Pablo demands an answer re: Papa B, Guido, and fixing the election. Guido hems and haws and mumbles that he might’ve, you know, taken out a couple of PILAS’s votes. “Do you think Marizza’s an idiot?” Pablo groans. He doesn’t want to be president like this, but Guido and Tomás are all like, “But, but, ruling the school and your swanky sex apartment! THINK OF THE SEX APARTMENT!”

Marizza, Sonia, Lujan, and Laura are in the lounge, talking about the election result. Lujan and Sonia are all indignant on Marizza’s behalf and are ready to start punching; Laura kind of doesn’t give a shit, as usual. Pablo comes in and tries to talk to Marizza — “Mommy, I don’t want to see him!” Marizza wails, and Sonia starts verbally berating Pablo and throwing shit at him. Damn, at least let the kid talk!

Hilda and Gloria are still at the club, which turns out to be some kind of…group therapy club? I don’t know. People get up on stage and confess their struggles, and then they choose a way to deal with them, and the entire club goes along with it — like one guy apparently feels better when he imitates a pelican (what?), and then they all do a pelican imitation, and then he’s happy. I mean, I guess I’m not surprised that Carmen’s into some sort of weird public self-flagellation shit, but…what? Anyway, Hilda gets up onstage and confesses that she sexed Hilario to death and now she’ll never find love. Everyone sympathizes and reassures her that the world is still full of hot septuagenarians, and apparently that’s all Hilda needed to hear to get over it.

Back at school, Fernanda invites Marcos to Sol’s fashion show. He yet again doesn’t cotton on to what she’s doing, and accepts. Lujan isn’t invited, but Fernanda’s like, “You can find clothes for her, and that will totally make her cool with this whole thing.” Ah yes, we know how much Lujan loves fashion.
Mia takes care of Manuel some more, and flashbacks to all the good times together. Ah, the days when Manuel’s hair was slightly less tragic than it is now.
Sonia tells Andres that Martavio is weirding her out with his obsession with Marizza. “What’s weird about that?” Andres derps. “It’s totally normal for an adult man to be obsessed with a teenage girl,” he doesn’t add. Sonia says that not even Marizza’s dad used to hug her; why does Martavio care about her so much? Andres is like, “Well, if you’re really worried, we should definitely talk to the school,” and Sonia’s like, “Well, what are we going to say?” Uh…tell them that Martavio is creeping on your daughter? It’s not hard, Sonia. Andres is like, “You right, we have absolutely nothing to go on, ergo we should just keep quiet about it.” You’re all terrible. Instead, Sonia decides that she’ll just have to find a way to be at the school at all times.
Marizza and Lujan argue over why Marizza doesn’t get revenge on Pablo, and which one of them is more dickmatized by their respective douchey boyfriends. Then Marizza gets a mysterious note telling her to meet the author if she wants to get revenge on Pablo. Suspicious!

Night falls and Marizza follows the note, and she ends up at Pablo’s sex dungeon apartment. He dumps a bunch of heart balloons on her, for…reasons? Oh, Pablo, you sweet dumb boy. He tells Marizza that he doesn’t like the fraud situation any more than she does, not that that’s going to make him step down. He does want to share the presidency with her, though. Marizza says that means Pablo will have to admit that he didn’t win fairly, and he’s like, “Oh, well then nevermind.” Marizza shoots him down and leaves, and steals…something? on her way out. Uh, a hint: it’s helpful to show what’s on the table beforehand, and then show it disappearing. Otherwise I’m just staring at a shot of an empty table. Pablo’s all crushed that Marizza didn’t want to have dinner with him, and pops the champagne open himself. “Thanks to you, Mom and Dad, every day I’m more unhappy,” he says.

The next day, Lola chatters on to Francisco about the keys and Laura’s mysterious boyfriend. He’s like, “Don’t you think the keys are just there to distract us? We can’t be letting like, actual clues throw us off our trail.” For some reason, this makes sense to Lola. So I guess her plan is just to…bug Laura until she caves and tells them about her boyfriend? It’s unclear.

Suddenly, everyone and their mom is talking about the fashion show. Feli is all hype for it, but Vico’s mad that Feli’s siding with the enemy, instead of trying to warn Mia. Vico accuses Feli of not being committed to Sparkle Motion, and flips out on her. Then Vico calls Mia and tries to get her to come back, and Mia’s like, “I must take care of my douchey ex-boyfriend instead of doing something fun!” This is so tragic.
Weirdly, Guido tells Sol and Fernanda that he’s obtained tickets for the show, so he and Tomás will be there. Sol worries that something’s up with Pablo, and she’s like, “Even though I don’t need him anymore, and Sonia’s going to make me a model, I still feel kind of…weird? Like I have real feelings?” and Fernanda’s like, “Eh, ignore it, they’ll go away soon.” Heh. She suggests that Sol just get with another guy, and Sol chirps that she’s been checking out Tomás. Fernanda’s not happy about this, even though I thought she switched her focus to Marcos, and also that Tomás is afraid of Fernanda’s arsonist tendencies anyway. Whatever.
Marizza tells Lujan about Pablo’s booty call the night before. Lujan, of course, thinks it’s a trap, but Marizza thinks that she saw the real Pablo, not the power-obsessed douchebag he’s turned into this season. Lujan doesn’t think Pablo can change, and Marizza’s about to start flashbacking to all the times he threatened her, hung her off the side of a cliff, etc — and then Lujan cuts her off. Hey, don’t interrupt the black-and-white montages, Lujan! They’re serious business! Then Marcos comes in with an invite to the show, and Lujan snaps that she’s not going. Lujan, there’s playing hard to get, and then there’s actively trying to screw with your relationship. Why must you make it so hard to love you?
Dunoff’s figured out that his pen’s gone missing. Gloria’s like, “What, they’re like fifty cents a box at Staples,” and Dunoff’s like, “…it’s not that kind of pen.” Heh. He’s determined to get it back, and storms out to go searching through the school. Carmen comes in and asks how Gloria and Hilda liked her weird public confession kink club, and Gloria says that Hilda seemed to like it, but now she’s acting weird. She didn’t even show up to school today.

Lola plants an alfajor in Francisco’s notebook to see if he eats it. If he does, it proves he loves her, because they both love alfajores! Bianca’s like, “Or it means he likes free cookies, like most people on the planet,” and Lola’s like, “Stop saying words.”

Romina comes by to see Manuel, which Mia is not happy about at all. She starts tonguing Manuel’s nasty germ-covered face and being passive-aggressive about Mia’s nursing skills. Mia gets all emo and leaves her own damn room so they can be alone. Jesus, Mia, assert yourself.

Guido and Tomás want to know where Pablo was last night. He says he was with a girl and that’s all the details he’s going to give them. Well, when you think about it, he’s not technically lying. Guido and Tomás start whooping, and Rocco rolls up to snark on them. He’s like, “Observe the typical bro-style of Guido’s clothing, which suggests repressed homosexuality!” Uh…he’s wearing his school uniform, Rocco. Guido’s like, “You calling me a fag?”, but then Dunoff comes up and tells them about his missing pen, which distracts everyone. As class president, Pablo offers to keep an eye out for it, even as Guido and Tomás are sweating bullets in the background. They’re like, “What do?!”

Sonia goes to Dunoff and tells him she needs a job in the school, so she can stalk Marizza 24/7. Or you could just…take Marizza out of school, like that time she went on a monthlong vacation. Dunoff is at a loss for what Sonia would even do, which is weird because wasn’t she going to be the dance teacher for like five minutes back in season 1? Or she could run the cafeteria. I bet Ana’s pissed she has to do Sandra and Cata’s jobs at once. Sonia’s like, “I know you’ll help me, because you’re my FORBIDDEN LOVER, WHO HAD AN AFFAIR WITH ME, AND IT HAD TO BE SECRET BECAUSE YOU’RE MARRIED” and Dunoff is like, “Oh my God, shut up.” And then Mama D walks in! She doesn’t notice anything amiss, and says she understands Sonia’s motherly instinct to watch over her child.

Romina tells Manuel that Mia’s left, and Manuel’s like, “Now that she’s gone, I must switch to dicking you around!” and gets all upset that Mia’s not there, and decides he’s gonna break back into Elite Way to find her. Romina is smarter than Manuel’s previous girlfriends, and points out that Manuel told her that he and Mia were over — and yet here he is, delirious with fever and suspended from school, ready to charge back in just to see Mia. “I lied,” Manuel admits. Romina takes that about as well as you’d expect, and storms out.
Everyone’s in the main hall, setting up for the fashion show. So they’re just letting three girls take over the main hall so they can show off their clothes? You know what, whatever. I am not surprised. Fernanda shows Marcos her model walk, read: tries to make him check her ass out. Marcos says that he’s gonna skip the show and hang out with Lujan, and Fernanda’s like, “But, but, my attempts to break you two up!”

Marizza is unsurprisingly not happy about Sonia trying to get a job at Elite Way. Sonia assures her that no one will even know that she’s here, except then Feli rocks up and she’s like, “Sonia, you should come down to the fashion show and let everyone fawn over you!” and Sonia’s like, “Oh, for sure.” So…good job on keeping the low profile there. Martavio comes by to comfort her — which Sonia sees — but Marizza gets mad at him and stomps off.

Mia finally gets her butt back to school, and Vico tries to warn her about Sol’s fashion show. She’s like, “She’s trying to usurp you!” “I’m Mia Colucci,” Mia says. “Nobody can take away my throne.” Just then, Lola and Bianca show up and gush over the fashion show clothes, assuming that the show is Mia’s. Mia looks at the pictures they’re carrying, and Vico’s like, “Uh, Mia? Those are some really nice clothes,” and Mia’s like, “…yup.”
Dunoff’s like, “Fourth year is out there having fun! WHY ARE THEY HAVING FUN?” Gloria hesitantly admits that they have free period now, since Hilda didn’t show up, and this school can’t spare any of the other three teachers to sub. Dunoff yells at her to figure out what exactly happened to Hilda.
Guido steals Augustina’s backpack while she’s in class, except she catches him right away. Actually, her backpack looks exactly like everyone else’s, so I don’t see how she knows it’s hers. Whatever. She tells him she already knew the pen was a lie, because it has Dunoff’s initials on it. Heh. Then Dunoff pops up and he’s like, “Hey, that’s my pen!” and Augustina’s like, “Guido gave it to me!” then runs away. Guido talks his way out of it, saying that he found the pen just lying around school, but now he’s trying to figure out who took it, and he won’t rest until he finds out who was disrespecting Dunoff’s property! Oh my God, Guido, just say you found it. Anyway, Dunoff looks forward to hearing who the culprit is, because Guido literally can’t open his mouth without digging a hole all the way to China.

Manuel sneaks into school amongst a group of other students. For some reason, he didn’t bother to put his uniform back on, even though that would help him blend about 500% more. Naturally, Blas spots him right away, and he’s like, “You’re coming back to school to remind Mia she could date guys her own age? Not on my watch!” He yells at Manuel, “What part of prohibited don’t you understand?” What part of it don’t you understand, Blas? E.g., in the sentence, “Grown men perving on underage girls is prohibited by law.” Anyway, Blas threatens to expel Manuel, and Manuel has to look for another way in.

Guido lies some more and tells Tomás and Pablo that he’s completely off the hook with Dunoff and Augustina. Pablo says they should go to the fashion show and pick up girls to take to the sex apartment.
Feli tries to talk to Vico and Mia about Sol’s group, which apparently they’re calling the “Top Group.” Vico mocks the name, and it’s funny because Victoria Maurette used to live in the US, so she has a pretty much perfect American accent when she speaks English, and it’s kind of jarring in comparison to everyone else. Anyway, Vico points out that Sol’s fashion show is just ripping off Mia’s American fair, and Feli’s upset that Vico doesn’t like her new friends. Mia’s not even paying attention because she’s so emo over Manuel, but she gets it together long enough to out-mean girl Sol when she comes in. Sol invites Mia to her show, and Mia gushes that she has to go, obviously, because she loves charity. Having lost that particular battle, Sol decides to suggest to Feli that Mia’s not being a very good friend. Has she even asked how things are going with Alex? Feli has to admit that Mia doesn’t really give a fuck about Feli’s personal life.

Gloria tells Dunoff and Mama D that she went to Hilda’s apartment to look for her, and oh, how she was frightened to see what was inside, if Hilda’s corpse has been rotting away for 24 hours, and how could she, Gloria, see that — “Gloria, what did you find out?” Dunoff cuts her off. Heh. Gloria tells them that Hilda wasn’t at home, and Dunoff tells her to start checking in with all the hospitals in Buenos Aires. “By myself?” Gloria squeaks. “YES, by yourself!” Dunoff yells, and Mama D sighs and volunteers to help Gloria. Mama D is too good for all these women trying to break up her marriage.
Marcos tells Lujan that he’s going to the fashion show. Lujan’s like, “But I thought you were hanging out with me,” which is a reasonable assumption considering that he also told Fernanda that he was hanging out with Lujan. Marcos gets all pissy that Lujan’s like, nagging him, man, and not letting him do whatever the fuck he wants. “I’m tired of you trying to dominate me,” he snaps. Then use your safe word, Marcos! He storms off, and Blas comes out from behind a pillar somewhere, laughing his head off. He’s like, “I love the sound of suffering!”

Mia rants to Vico and Feli about Romina, and Feli cuts her off and says, “Why does it always have to be about you? How hard it is to be you, your clothes, your dad, Manuel. Why don’t you ever ask, ‘How are you, Feli? How’s it going with Alex?’” “Oh! How’s it going with Alex?” Mia chirps, with this look on her face like she really was just reminded to ask that. Feli snaps that it’s too late and leaves. Vico acts all offended on Mia’s behalf, although really, she should be asking the same thing. She’s homeless with nowhere to live once school is out, you’d think she’d want someone to ask her about that.
Laura tries to convince Marizza to go to the fashion show, and Marizza’s like, “Hell no.” Then Lujan comes in and announces that they’re going. Hee.
Bianca goes to say hi to Rocco, and gets all giggly when he starts filming her. Lola cottons that Bianca likes him, but Bianca thinks a sk8er boi like him will never want a prep like her.

Then Alex shows up, to Feli’s delight. Rocco tells her that Mia asked him to invite Alex, because she wants to meet him. Feli’s all happy. Aw.
Manuel tries to sneak into the school on a delivery truck, but Blas decides he wants to inspect the truck before it goes into the school. Uh, I call bullshit. Blas would never bother himself with something as petty as school security when he could be watching the female students parade down a runway.
