Previously on Rebelde Way: Blas caught Lujan Googling the place where he purportedly stayed as a psychiatric patient. She quickly BSes that she thinks Marcos’s mom might be staying there, and Blas is like, “Wow, your continued devotion to Marcos after he brutally dumped you is super pathetic.” Lujan’s like, “I will accept this insult as long as you don’t keep asking questions about what I’m doing on the Internet.” It’s sad that Blas isn’t wrong, though.
Tomás patches Guido up after Toro beats Guido up. Guido wails that they have to win the soccer match and get the money from the girls, lest Toro follow him around, punching him in the face until graduation. Uh, since I know all I have to look forward to on this show is Mia forgiving Manuel, I think I should be allowed to watch Guido get beat up to make up for it. Anyway, Rocco films all of this and laughs, as he should.

Pablo and Marizza go to Casa Bustamante to see Papa B. Ines has been well and truly brainwashed by Papa B, and she yells at Pablo for sending his father into a depression with his horrible little artistic whims. “He is a victim!” she bleats at Pablo. Someone hand Ines a book about gaslighting, my God. Pablo feels all guilty about what he’s done.

Sabrina shows Manuel and Mia a tour schedule she’s worked out for them, and they gush at how many shows they’re going to play. Who knew that they could have so many fans without ever releasing any music apart from the one show they do every couple of months? Mia gets cold feet, though, at the thought of missing so much school. Sabrina snipes that an opportunity like this doesn’t come around every day. I mean…it kind of does, in Erreway’s case. I’m sure they’ll sell out the Gran Rex again in another month. Manuel’s like, “Whatever, you can always just do high school over again. Like me!” Manuel and Sabrina flounce off together and the music video for “Que estés” plays. Weird use of time, but okay.

Lalo and Feli leave her house and Lalo’s like, “It was super hot how you gave up your entire family for me!” Feli worries that she’s given everything up for a guy who’s going to dump her because she’s a virgin who can’t drive. That’s a weird segue, but okay. Lalo assures her that everything is going to be fine and he doesn’t mind that she’s not experienced. I mean, at this point, if I were dating a boy on this show, I would want a signed and notarized letter saying that he’s not going to pressure me into having sex.

The girls argue that it’s totally unfair that the boys want to play football, since the girls are all crap at it and the boys are guaranteed to win. Why don’t they just suck up that they lost at DDR and Guido can live with the consequences of paying a woman to put up with him? JK, no one says that second bit, but they should. Then Dunoff comes by and gives Pilar a present from her mom. They’re a pair of…cleats? Athletic shoes? I don’t know. Anyway, Pilar starts shooting her mouth off about how the girls will win for sure when she wears these, and Dunoff’s like, “Excuse? Do I hear you planning a GIRLS AGAINST BOYS football game, possibly for MONEY?” Wow, he really inferred a lot of extra information from that one sentence. Dunoff yells that giiiiirls aren’t allowed to play football. After he storms off, Belen rightly points out that there’s no reason for them to even care about this, since the girls already HAVE the money, so they should just keep it and not play. THANK YOU, BELEN. Everyone else laughs at her because they’re committed to this farce of a subplot.

Blas asks Marcos why he’s trying to hide his mom’s location from Lujan, and Marcos is like, “What? Lujan knows exactly where my mom is staying. Shit, my mom likes her better than me!” Blas is perturbed, and Marcos is perturbed that Blas is perturbed. Say perturbed again.

Lalo and Feli make out in the cafeteria, and Lalo’s like, “But really, telling your mom was nice, but you also gotta tell Maxi that the two of you aren’t getting married or whatever.” I hate when the garbage man is right. Then Feli’s mom and Maxi burst in with the police in tow, and Feli’s mom is like, “There’s the waiter who DID SOMETHING UNSPECIFIC TO ME!” I think she says he’s a thief? I don’t know, Lalo’s yelling and Feli’s yelling and there’s also some dramatic music so it’s hard to hear. The police drag Lalo away and Feli is ugly crying. I was about to be like, “This seems unrealistic even for this show,” but then it turns out that Feli’s just having a bad dream. She tells Mia and Vico about it and they’re like, “Your mom is probably not going to get Lalo arrested, bro.” Really? On this show? We’re gonna forget about Blas getting Manuel arrested that one time?

Augustina runs into Tomás, who’s bringing Guido breakfast. Jesus, Tomás, love yourself. Augustina loves herself even less, though, because she like begs Tomás to let her bring Guido breakfast — Tomás won’t let her though because he really wants this honor himself? IT’S JUST GUIDO, YOU IDIOTS. Rocco rocks up out of nowhere and shows Augustina the video he took of Guido.

Marizza muses to Lujan that her mother is so wise, yet she doesn’t know that she and Papa C aren’t meant to be. Lujan’s like, “Maybe they’re in love,” and Marizza’s like, “Stop saying words.” She changes the subject and says that she wishes she could help find Papa B for Pablo. Lujan’s like, “Why don’t you just ask Javier? Papa B and Ines haven’t disowned him yet.” Marizza says that she can’t because Pablo’s all insecure every time she says two words to Javier. Javier overhears this and gets all salty.

Maxi asks Feli to tell him honestly if she and Lalo are dating. Feli’s like, “Yes, we’re in love, what are you going to do about it!” Maxi points out that Lalo and Feli are from vastly different worlds and have wildly different expectations out of life. I mean…he’s not wrong. Feli’s like, “It happens in the movies all the time! Check and mate!” What? Feli, if the past episodes have been anything to go by, the only movie you’ve seen recently is Amarte duele, in which being from different social classes does not work out for the protagonists at ALL. Did any of these kids watch the ending of that movie? Anyway, Maxi rightly points out that this is real life (I mean, kind of), but Feli won’t be swayed.

After he leaves, Feli almost tells Lalo about how she dreamed that he would get arrested — maybe it’s a prophetic dream! We still have 37 episodes left (help); there’s still time to introduce that into this series. Especially since we haven’t had a dramatic dream dance sequence in a while.

Pilar, Fernanda, and Belen discuss Dunoff banning them from playing football. They’re like, “Can he do that? Is that legal? Is Title IX a thing here?” Lujan runs in and says that she’s booked them a practice session with female coaches, so they can practice and not deal with stupid sexist boys. Are the girls in this school finally getting woke to how shitty their classmates are? Anyway, then Tomás comes in and asks Pilar where she put the prize money. He gets all offended that she didn’t give it to him to watch, and Pilar’s like, “Have you met your friends?”

Erreway walks into the classroom, with Manuel and Mia fighting over Sabrina’s role in the band again. Pablo tells them to stop fighting and really think about how they’re going to balance school and the tour, and for a second it looks like they’re actually going to discuss a legitimate concern regarding their music careers, but then class starts. While they talk, Javier sneaks up and steals Marizza’s phone. Not creepy at all!
Feli’s mom tells Maxi not to worry, because she’s going to break Feli’s spirit and get the two of them back together if it’s the last thing she does. First they’re going to pull Feli out of Elite Way, and then they’re going to get Lalo fired, too. Wouldn’t getting him fired just mean that he has more time to stalk Feli? Like, isn’t their plan to separate them accomplished just by pulling Feli out of school? I don’t know. Anyway, Maxi tells Feli’s mom to slow down, because he already has his own plan to win Feli back.

Javier tells Pablo that Marizza asked him to find Sergio even after Pablo asked her not to, and he’s not just saying that because he specifically overheard Pablo say that this is his biggest fear five minutes ago. He shows Pablo a text from Marizza on his phone asking for Javier’s help and snarks that clearly Pablo and Marizza need to communicate better.

Augustina confronts Diego about sending Toro after Guido. She snaps at him for being immature, and Diego’s like, “I mean, Guido did send that guy after me first.” I mean…he’s not wrong. Anyway, Augustina says that she’s tired of boys and their stupid petty problems, and Diego gets all offended that she has the nerve to break up with him. “Are you breaking up with me?” he asks. “Finally you realize,” Augustina snipes back. Hee. Sadly, after five seconds of looking like Augustina might be less self-loathing, she immediately calls her dad and asks him for money to pay off Guido’s debt. No, Augustina! Let him suffer! Let me enjoy this!

The girls gather for soccer practice and immediately start arguing: half the group (Laura, Fernanda, and Belen) are whining about how they’re baaad at soccer because they’re giiirls and they don’t want to break any nails, while the other half (Marizza, Lujan, and Pilar) tell them to get over themselves. I’m kind of surprised that Pilar is coming down on Marizza and Lujan’s side, but I guess her overpowering desire to destroy her classmates will always trump her thirst for peer acceptance. Then Blas comes into the courtyard looking for Lujan, and she immediately bolts. Marizza wants to know what that’s all about, but Lujan blows her off.

Francisco asks Mia if she’s told Manuel that they didn’t sleep together yet. Mia says she hasn’t, then she starts ranting about how annoying it is that everyone thinks she and Francisco dating. Well, maybe you should woman up and tell people you aren’t, Mia. I swear. Francisco is all hurt that Mia doesn’t like the hypothetical idea of their relationship. And then — OH MY GOD, AND THEN “BRING ME TO LIFE” STARTS PLAYING OVER FRANCISCO’S SAD FACE, MY HAND TO GOD.

Just end this show now, nothing will ever be better than this scene.
Pablo confronts Marizza over her asking Javier for help. She denies it, and he’s like, “I saw your text, from your phone, asking him for help.” Marizza’s like, “What, so he stole my phone?” and they both scoff at the idea even though Javier has repeatedly proven that he’s creepy and shady. Believe the worst of him, you guys! It’s probably true! Anyway, they agree to just forget about Javier’s desperate machinations and find Papa B on their own. Heh. I love that Javier’s manipulation attempts are so pathetic that Pablo and Marizza are basically ignoring him now. Just then, they see Javier walk by, and they fake a fight to make him think that his plan worked.

Feli, Mia, and Vico hang out, and Feli says that she’s going to ask Lalo’s permission to go to the girls’ soccer practice. Vico’s like, “Wow, love yourself.” They discuss Feli’s recent breakup, and Feli mentions that it’s weird that Maxi just let her go like that. And THAT is because apparently, his master plan is to love bomb her until she comes back to him: the girls go into their room, and Feli’s bed is covered with presents from him. Why is this school so lenient with letting male strangers into the girls’ bedrooms? Anyway, Sol comes in and is all shocked that Feli had the self-esteem to break up with Maxi. Feli says…something in response that I can’t make out. I’m sure it’s not that witty, but Mia reacts literally like that Supa Hot Fire gif:

Sol and Feli exchange more jabs about Feli dating the cafeteria guy. I’d say that at least Feli’s boyfriend is less creepy than the guys that Sol has dated, but Lalo is still pretty gross. I HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN THE FACE-GRABBING.
Laura catches Lola being emo, and Lola cries that her mom still hasn’t called her. “Maybe she doesn’t love me!” Lola wails. I mean…she’s not wrong, sadly. Laura offers to stay with her, presumably for moral support, but mostly because she wants to punk out of soccer practice. Lola tells her to go anyway.
Pilar and Tomás have plans to go out today, but Pilar ditches him in favor of soccer practice. Not that she tells him this, of course — she lies and says that the girls are going shopping together. Tomás is all hurt because it’s their anniversary. What anniversary? A whole year cannot have passed, because they just hooked up this season. Although knowing these kids, it’s probably been like two months and they think that’s the equivalent of getting married. Anyway, Pilar’s like, “Oops” because she totally forgot. Dammit, Pilar! I want to believe you and Tomás are cute together! Nevertheless, she refuses to cancel her plans with the girls.

Tomás is suspicious and goes to Guido for help. His first mistake! How is Tomás getting so much smarter as this series goes on, and yet is still dumb enough to think Guido is in any way helpful? Anyway, Guido’s rolling around in bed, except he cries out in agony every time he rolls onto his injured eye. HEE! Guido’s immediately like, “She’s cheating on you, bro.” Obviously, there’s only one thing to do about this: it’s stalking time!
Speaking of, Maxi calls Feli, expecting her low self-esteem to be honored by all his gifts. Instead, she tells him that they’re never, ever getting back together. Maxi scowls that he’s going to have to move to Phase 2 of his plan.

The girls leave for soccer practice — Mia is coming along just to watch; Marizza stays behind presumably to help smoke out Javier with Pablo, but it’s actually just an excuse for her to run into Lola. She sees Lola being all emo over her mom and she’s like, “Damn, if even brutally lying to your mom can’t get her to come see you, maybe it’s time to just let it go.” Not in those words, obviously. Lola wails that she has a right to know why her mom abandoned her. Marizza’s like, “I guess. Idk, can’t relate, my home life is actually relatively stable despite my whining.” Marizza feels bad and gives Lola her mom’s phone number.

Rocco weirdly zooms in on Francisco’s crotch with his camera and says that, via his powers of observation, he’s noticed that Francisco is crazy in love with Mia. Francisco’s like, “By powers of observation, you mean that you run around filming everyone without their permission, right?” Rocco’s like, “Yes.” Francisco admits that he liiiiikes Mia, but she doesn’t like him, but he’s agreed to be her fake boyfriend because it’s the only way he can be close to her. Jesus, that’s depressing. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but love yourself, Francisco! Rocco says that Francisco should just man up and tell Mia how he feels — even if she rejects him, at least he’ll know the truth. Francisco calls Mia and asks her to come back to school.

Lola calls her mom and says that it’s her daughter calling. Blas swoops in just then and is all, “How dare you impersonate Lujan and try to call her mom for her!” Blas, why would Lola even — oh my God, whatever. He grabs the phone from her and the person on the other end tells him that Lola’s mom isn’t there. Blas cackles evilly and tells Lola to tell Lujan that her mom doesn’t want to talk to her. Lola’s like, “Uh, I think she’s just not there?” and Blas is all, “Doesn’t that sound like an excuse to you? Obviously Lujan’s mom hates her daughter and doesn’t want to talk to her!” Of course, it’s actually Lola’s mom that they’re talking about, and Lola is all crushed. Except her mom shows up like two seconds later, having traveled to Buenos Aires because she heard that Lola was sick. She tells Lola that she’s looking for “[her] daughter, Lola”, not knowing that Lola…is Lola. (Say “Lola” again.) Lola is shocked.

Pablo and Marizza fake another fight in front of Javier. Marizza’s all, “Javier is so BRAVE and MANLY, I bet if I asked him find out where Papa B is, he would have done it already!” This spurs Javier into action; he asks Ines where Papa B is, and Ines tells him that they haven’t spoken in a while, but last she checked, he’s not even in Buenos Aires.

Tomás and Guido follow the girls to their soccer practice and immediately forget about Pilar in lieu of lusting after all the women in leggings. Well, mostly Guido. Tomás is mostly focused on finding Pilar because he is the closest thing to a decent boyfriend on this show right now. A woman accidentally bowls into him and Guido’s like, “Quick, act like that really hurt so that she’ll feel like she has to take care of you!” I HATE HIM. I hope a ball hits him in his other eye. Anyway, the woman crouches over Tomás and fusses over him. I wonder what the odds of Pilar walking in right now are.

Sabrina talks Manuel into going to a meeting about Erreway without the rest of the band. He’s reluctant, but she assures him that it’s just for hammering out which songs they’re going to play, that sort of thing. She definitely isn’t trying to lure him into a solo career so she can have him all to herself! Although, I mean, given that Pablo is the composer and Mia is the lyricist, Manuel and Marizza are kind of the most useless band members, aren’t they? (None of them can sing, lbr.) (Just kidding, before anyone tries to @ me with their performances. They make out and Mia walks in. She’s all hurt to see them together, again, some more.

Michi and Miranda gossip a bit about Papa B’s ownership of Elite Way. As soon as Michi leaves, Miranda calls someone and tells him that he’s learning lots of interesting things about Papa B, and he “knows what he has to do.” Is…is Miranda going to assassinate Papa B?

Francisco confesses to Mia that he’s in love with her. “You’re joking, right?” Mia asks. Heh. Denied, Francisco!
