Previously on Rebelde Way: Mia revealed Papa C and Sonia’s relationship to Marizza. Let’s see how she blows up! JK, Marizza takes it surprisingly well and is willing to hear Sonia out. Papa C hustles Mia out, and Marizza smirks that she’s totally fine with Sonia dating Papa C — after all, they’re going to break up soon, because that’s how Sonia rolls. Sonia insists that she and Papa C will be 2gether 5ever, and Marizza smirks and says, “Call me when you fight.” Heh.
Meanwhile, Manuel is reaming Sabrina out for expressing concern for him. He’s such a charmer! He insists that he’s TOTALLY FINE and his collapse didn’t mean ANYTHING. Sabrina tells him to chill, and Manuel rants some more that he’s just tired of being under Papa C’s thumb. He doesn’t want a guardian anymore, he wants to be free! Then…stop going to high school and move back to your country where you already have a diploma, Manuel? I swear, the solution is RIGHT THERE and yet he’s acting like he’s forced to live in Argentina for the rest of his life. I bet his tiny lisping sister doesn’t even remember she has a brother anymore.

Papa C yells at Mia, again, some more. He tells her that she’s being immature and she’s grounded. Mia is all upset, and Papa C’s like, “You should be grateful I don’t slap you!” Yikes. It’s a deeply grotesque thing to say, but it’s also something I wouldn’t be surprised to hear from several parents I have known, so…yeah.
Rocco and Vico help Feli…sneak out? Is it sneaking if her own parents want her to leave? I don’t know. Anyway, Feli comes down the staircase wearing the red dress and looking quite cute. Both Rocco and Vico sweetly tell her that she looks beautiful. Aw! Michi shows up to take Feli to the party, and Feli’s jaw drops, I guess because Michi has the audacity to not be wearing a potato sack. I really don’t know what this show is trying to tell me about weight anymore. Let’s just go to the party.

At dinner, Sonia tells Papa C what Marizza said about them breaking up. Papa C gets all pissy at the thought that Sonia’s had lots of boyfriends, and it looks like they might fight but then they don’t. This is basically like the Spring Smackdown episode of Happy Endings. Then they start talking about the house they bought together, and Sonia starts going on about how much she loves color and wants a colorful home, and gosh, wouldn’t it just be terrible to have one of those sterile monochrome houses that were so popular in the 2000s? Papa C’s like, “Wow, gosh, that sure would be terrible.”

Manuel tells Marcos that Papa C is making him go to the doctor, and he wants Marcos to go in his place. The doctor doesn’t know what Manuel looks like — and tbf, he and Marcos do kind of have a similar description, i.e. “Former semi-decent guy who got a makeover and promptly forgot how to act.” Manuel whines that Papa C thinks Manuel needs to see a psychologist — can’t imagine why! — but he’s TOTALLY FINE and Papa C is just trying to control him, man. Marcos agrees that Manuel doesn’t need a psychologist: “What you need is Mia.” No, Manuel definitely needs professional help, Marcos.

Speaking of Mia, she finds Francisco in the cafeteria and they chat a bit. She helps herself to his food and promptly starts eating all her feelings, and Francisco’s like, “…you okay?” Mia starts freaking out that her dad wants to bring Sonia into their family and storms out. Francisco’s just like, “Oookay then.”

Feli and Michi go to her family’s fancy party. Feli’s mom reams Feli out for wearing the red dress, and Michi yells back at her that Feli is beautiful and Feli’s mom is a fat-shaming dick. Feli’s mom wails that Feli and Michi have both ruined her party by daring to be fat in public — and when she had such a nice surprise for Feli, too! She says she was going to introduce Feli to one of their client’s sons, but that will NEVER work now. Just then, the client and son rock up, and Michi naturally charms their socks off, as she does with everyone because she is amazing. The son’s name is Max, and I can’t tell if we’re meant to think he’s cute or not. He’s not bad-looking, but since Feli isn’t allowed to date cute boys on this show, I’m guessing we’re supposed to think that glasses = ugly.

Back at school, Guido sexiles Tomás from their room: he somehow has managed to bring Andrea over, and he is ready to do whatever freaky shit was in her letter. Andrea’s like, “I didn’t write you a letter?” and Guido’s like, “Whatever, I know you want it!” ICK. I swear, being pushed onto a bed by Guido is the stuff of nightmares. Anyway, Andrea insists that she didn’t write the letter and Guido’s like, “Then who did?” LOL, you know what I just remembered? Feli wrote that letter, with Michi dictating it. I completely forgot about that. Okay, mystery solved. Andrea snaps at him that he clearly wants whoever wrote that letter and he doesn’t really like her. Guido? Caring only about sex and not about a girl’s feelings? Well, I am shocked.

In the not-library, Lujan tells Marizza that she thinks Papa C and Sonia are cute together. Agreed, Lujan! Then she adds that she thinks Marizza and Javier would also be cute together. NOT agreed! Lujan, why you gotta do me like this? Marizza is so far the most sensible person in this episode. Marizza! The two of them whine about how they don’t want to study for their history quiz, which segues into Javier coming up and handing them a chapter summary that he made. Lujan’s like, “Look, Pablo never made you a study guide!” Pablo also never pretended to be physically disabled to grope Marizza’s boob, so let’s not start, Lujan.

Speaking of, Pablo and Papa B come back from dinner with Martavio. Papa B gushes that that Andrade is SUCH a cool dude, and he’s glad he got to sit down with him! So…he didn’t use the opportunity to blow up Martavio’s spot? Why did they even go to dinner then? Whatever, I know this show’s pacing is only meant to drag the episodes out as long as possible and nothing more. Pablo gushes that he’s so grateful that Papa B invited Martavio out with them, and he hugs Papa B. Papa B’s like, “Ha! Affection from my foolish son, who knows not what is about to occur!”

Lola wakes Laura up and tells her that she wrote to her mom. A voiceover of Lola reading the letter plays, asking if her mom is still alive. I mean…if she’s dead, Lola, she can’t exactly answer your letter.

The next morning. Fernanda invites Sol to have breakfast and hang out later, but Sol snipes that she’s busy. Fernanda wants to know what she’s doing, and Sol won’t tell her. Fernanda finally gets sick of enabling Sol’s BS and snaps that their friendship is over.
Dunoff comes in holding a briefcase, which is weird since I was never under the impression that the Dunoffs have a house. Remember when they fired Dunoff and Pilar was freaking out over where they would live? Whatever. Anyway, Papa B’s like, “You’re late for our daily corrupt shenanigans!” He hands Dunoff a paper and tells him to follow whatever instructions are implied. Dunoff’s like, “I could never! It’s perverse!” but we know he will.

Guido finds another sexy letter the next day. He muses that, since it was left in the cafeteria, it must be from someone in the school. Just then, he overhears Hilda calling Michi, and…immediately jumps to the conclusion that the letter is from her? Just because you hear her name in the same vicinity doesn’t mean she wrote it, Guido. I mean, she did, but that was not a strong deduction. Anyway, he looks around and sees Fernanda, and decides that it must be her. Pablo keeps insisting that it’s just a joke, but Guido’s all like, “All girls are 100% serious about wanting to have sex with me!” This is a bold assumption on his part, I feel.

Francisco asks Mia about her little meltdown the other night, and she tells him about Papa C and Sonia dating. Francisco’s like, “Aw, I bet they’re so cute together!” and Mia’s like, “Why does everyone in this school ship them?” Because they’re the only semi-decent, non-comedic adults, Mia! Anyway, Francisco says that Mia seems jealous that her dad is in a healthy relationship while Mia’s relationship with Manuel is in a shambles — and wasn’t all that healthy when they were together, lbr. He tells her to live her life, because the whole school is on her side. This is weird because Francisco and everyone else enables Manuel every chance they get, but whatever.

Blas tasks Sol with going to Lola’s mom’s address — not that he knows that it’s her mom and not Lujan’s — and confirming that the woman who lives there knows someone with an orphaned daughter. Note that he does not ask her to confirm that the daughter’s name is Lujan, which would clear this whole plot right up. Sol agrees to do it, and Blas smiles at a job well-manipulated.

Pilar tells Tomás that she has to go somewhere with her dad today, and sighs that her mom won’t do it since her parents still hate each other. She asks if Tomás’s parents fight, and he’s like, “Not really.” Tomás’s adorable mom could never fight with anyone! He adorably offers to go along with Pilar and Dunoff. I LOVE THEM.

In history class, Hilda rants about how all the kids are lazy and have terrible study habits, and they should have done a summary but she’s sure that they didn’t. I mean…she’s not wrong. Javier puts his hand up and says that he knows Marizza wrote a good summary. Marizza takes the credit for Javier’s summary and he slowly worms his way back into her good graces. Ugh.
Then class is interrupted by Dunoff and Papa B. They make a big show about how they have some BAD NEWS about Martavio. Marizza shrieks that she’s going to get him and hurtles out of the classroom. It’s supposed to be dramatic but Camila Bordonaba’s running is only marginally less flaily than Luisana Lopilato’s, so it’s just kind of funny. She comes back with Martavio in tow, and Dunoff announces to the class that Martavio is fired. He tells them that Martavio isn’t really a teacher, and in fact Martavio is not his real name! And neither is Octavio, which is the name he was actually using and that I have been ignoring for the past 100 episodes. He tells them the sordid story about Martavio faking his name and credentials, although of course he doesn’t know the real sordid bit about him being Marizza’s dad. And that’s…the whole reveal. Honestly, the way they were going on about perversity, I thought they were going to try to frame Martavio for molestation or something. Anyway, Martavio admits that Dunoff is telling the truth.

Papa C brings Sonia to their new house, which is decorated entirely in white and black. She hates it and they finally have a giant fight about not respecting each other’s tastes and wishes. They’re all like, “Clearly we’ll never work together!” You knew this was coming.

The class regroups and immediately starts trying to think of a plan to get Martavio back. Manuel is very gung-ho about it, I guess because he relates to lying your way into a school to stalk one of the students and then sticking around for no real reason afterwards. Papa B comes in and tries to make out like he fought for Martavio to stay, but to no avail. Pablo sees that Marizza is all dejected and begs him to do something more, and Papa B’s like, “Yeah, I’ll try, I guess.”

Michi catches Lola looking through the mail for a reply from her mom. She’s upset with her for a minute but Lola makes a sad face and Michi promises to let her know as soon as a letter comes.
Everyone is hanging out in the cafeteria, trying to think of ways to help Martavio: he doesn’t have a teaching license, but hey, it’s not like half the staff at Elite Way do anyway. Pilar comes in all emo, and wails to Tomás that Dunoff is a murderer of hopes and dreams. Chill out, Pilar. You guys can just get a new cool teacher and everyone will forget about Martavio just like they did with Mansilla. Tomás promises that it will all work out, to which Pilar says, “You thought of something?” Ha! Oh, Pilar, I know you’re desperate, but let’s not lean on Tomás for ideas.

Pablo has a lightbulb moment: Blas doesn’t need a teaching license to be a glorified yard teacher, so Martavio can just do his job! As a bonus, there will be way less emotional and sexual abuse in the school!
Marizza goes to see Martavio. He’s packing up his things, and she yells at him to stay and fight instead of just giving up. Oh my God, can these kids ever use their rebeldía for something important, and not like, trying to give people jobs that they are not remotely qualified for. Martavio doesn’t have a teaching license!!! He scammed his way out of a background check!!! He is not to be trusted around children!!! Marizza cries that Martavio is the best teacher they have. A few other kids use this as an argument, but honestly, it is so weak. They have like five teachers; the bar at this school is low. Martavio refuses to fight more and walks out. Pablo finds Marizza there in the teachers’ lounge and tries to stick up for Martavio, but she snaps that he’s a coward.

Pilar is also trying to play the crying card with her parents, but they’re like, “We kind of have to hire teachers who are licensed to work here, sorry.” Pilar suggests making Martavio the yard teacher or something, and Mama D backs her up. Dunoff’s like, “But I already fired him, and that would just be embarrassing.”
Back in the classroom, Sol is telling one of the tertiary boys that she kind of doesn’t give a shit about this whole Martavio thing. “Want some Bubbaloo?” she adds. Hee. Blas comes in and tells them that they’re going to have study hall, since Martavio is gone and the other two teachers in this whole school are busy. He gives Sol a permission slip to leave, though. Lujan notices this and moves to follow her, but then stops for some reason. Like, you could still catch her, Lujan! Meanwhile, Guido just…waltzes on out. Is the door locked or not?

Guido comes across Pilar crying and asks what’s wrong, but he scares her off with his general douchiness. Then he sees another letter taped to his locker, which — okay, I know Michi and Feli wrote the first one, but they can’t still be trolling him, right? That would just be weird. Anyway, he wonders if Pilar was the one who left it. How dare! She would never do Tomás like that!

Papa B congratulates Dunoff on a corrupt plan well-executed. Dunoff’s like, “Well, what if we let him stay? Like as a yard teacher?” Papa B’s all like, “Never! He’s a terrible influence on our children!” Blas is literally a sex offender, but okay. Papa B snaps that their plan is finished, done, and totally over. Pablo walks in just then and he’s like, “What did you guys do?”
