100 more episodes! 100 more episodes! We can make it, guys!
Previously on Rebelde Way: Sabrina’s period is late! She cries all over Manuel that it’s all her fault, and for once, Manuel isn’t wrong when he assures her that isn’t. Yup! You and your incredibly weak will were there, too, Manuel! He tells Sabrina that they’ll get through this together. Sabrina smiles and hugs him evilly, because that is exactly what she wanted to hear.
Look, I’m not in favor of Manuel abandoning a girl that he thinks he got pregnant, but like…an abortion would solve everything, is all I’m saying. This episode has to be a solid argument for legalizing abortion in Argentina. They should show it in Parliament. We’d all abort if Manuel was the father of our hypothetical kid, let’s be real.
Meanwhile, Marizza’s realized that her diary is missing, but she doesn’t know that it’s been stolen by a creepy guy who’s using it to find out information about her so that he can get in her good graces and also drive off all her friends. This is the exact plot of a Sweet Valley High book, by the way. She snarls that whoever stole it will pay, if she only knew who that was. “What, you’re gonna beat up the whole school?” Lujan asks. “If I have to!” Marizza says. Seriously, what’s happened to Lujan? How could she not think that fighting their whole school wasn’t the answer? Lujan tells Marizza that she’s changed, and she thinks Marizza should really learn to employ subtlety. Marizza’s like, “Okay. Subtetly. Sure.” Lujan walks off, and Marizza’s first move is to grab Fernanda and yell at her to give back her diary. Heh. Fernanda snaps that she didn’t steal her diary, and if she WERE to steal anything of Marizza’s, she’d rob her of life. “SHE’S not subtle,” Marizza mutters. HA!

Meanwhile, Sol’s commandeered the entire cafeteria so that she can cry over getting in trouble. Pilar is there, too, for some reason, like she and Sol haven’t fought a million times this season. Whatever. Sol bawls to Fernanda, Pilar, and Belen that her dad’s grounded her for two weeks. This is the most tragical thing that’s ever happened to her! She says that they have to get revenge on Mia and Marizza. Fernanda agrees, because she just got attacked by Marizza in the hall, and Belen agrees, because she has no personality and will go along with what anyone tells her. Pilar is weirded out.

Sabrina and Manuel go to the store to get a pregnancy test. As they walk around town, Manuel keeps passing by babies and is horrified by the potential glimpse into his future. Sabrina dramatically begs him to hold her, because the sight of babies is freaking her out, too.

Mia’s at dinner with Papa C, waiting for not-Sonia to show up. “Michi” arrives shortly thereafter, and she’s really loud and gauche and she’s basically Sonia except fat. That, of course, is basically heresy in Rebelde Way-land, and Mia starts not-so-subtly making fun of her weight right off the bat. Yeah, this show hasn’t aged well. Sonia is seated over at the bar, keeping an eye on the date, and she’s not happy when Mia starts ranting that Michi can’t be her dad’s girlfriend — her date hates performers; he doesn’t like Mia’s band, he doesn’t like that Mia’s friends with Sonia, etc. Sonia’s all hurt by this. Michi gets tired of taking Mia’s BS too, and storms off.

Marizza passes by Pablo, and he makes fun of her for getting cheated on, implying that it’s her fault for keeping it casual. Marizza recalls that she used that exact phrasing in her diary, and decides that Pablo was the one who stole it. Oh, Marizza. You’re so close! Look slightly to the left, to his dad’s girlfriend’s kid! Marizza’s ready to storm off and kick Pablo’s ass, but then Diego shows up and hustles her off to talk it out. He tells her he loves her and BSes that what he and Paloma had wasn’t real or whatever, and WHO EVEN CARES. Nobody cares about Diego! He’s only slightly less of a nothing character than Belen! Marizza says she forgives him, but they’re never ever getting back together.

Manuel comes back to school all emo, and Pablo asks him what’s wrong. Manuel breaks down, which means we all have to look at Felipe Colombo’s ugly crying face. He tells Pablo that he has to break up with Mia, and Pablo’s just like, “O…kay.”

Meanwhile, Sabrina meets up with her friend. She brags that she told Manuel that her period’s late, and her friend’s like, “Is that actually true, though?” Sabrina’s like, “Of course not, keep up.” She’s just lying about it, because for some inexplicable reason, she really wants to get herself stuck with Manuel forever. Or at least until he figures out that she’s not actually pregnant. Her friend points all this out, and Sabrina shrugs that at least for now, Manuel is staying with her. There’s actually a mild implication that she has a fear of being alone after her leukemia scare, but as with all things in this show, it’s not super clear.
In the cafeteria, Sol gushes to Fernanda, Pilar, and Belen that they’re going to destroy Mia and Marizza. Pilar’s like, “Well, since we’re all friends again, I kind of have to tell you something.” She confesses to dating Tomás, but Sol brushes it off and says she’s cool with it. I bet she isn’t.

Marizza’s in Pablo’s room, looking for her diary. Heh. She’s so predictable. She hears him coming back and hides, and then Pablo and Manuel come in. Uh-oh, you know where this is going. Pablo and Manuel sit down and break out a flask (oh, Pablo), and they’re all like YEAH IT SUCKS THAT YOU SLEPT WITH ANOTHER GIRL and how IT’S NOT ANY GIRL, IT’S SABRINA and also SHE MIGHT BE PREGNANT. Marizza’s like, “What the fuck!” but manages to crawl out of the room without making a scene.

Rocco goes to confront Tato. He tells him that if he messes with Vico again, Rocco will make him sorry, and Tato just laughs at him. He and his minions gang up on Rocco, and they’re about to beat him up when Rocco introduces them to his “cousin”, who happens to be a police officer. A police officer who’s not in uniform and who looks like he’s seventeen, but Tato’s dumb ass buys it. Rocco’s all like, “Tell my cousin the police comissioner how you guys find and sell old janky electronics! Totally legally!”

Lujan’s new story has somehow been accepted for publication…somewhere…somehow. I don’t know. Blas freaks out that she’s about to air his dirty laundry to all of Buenos Aires, and tells Dunoff that they can’t let her publish a story without them reading it first. Dunoff agrees with him, and sends Blas off to get Lujan’s story right now. “With great pleasure,” smirks Blas. Ugh.
Over in Marizza’s room, Lujan finishes up her story, and triumphantly pulls out her floppy disk. HA! Marizza comes in, and Lujan like, tries to tell her about her accomplishment and all that, but Marizza’s like, “Lujan, you are not a main character, I don’t actually care that much about your life.” She’s all emo after finding out that Manuel cheated on Mia. She makes Lujan promise not to tell, and then spills the gossip to her. “All men are the same,” Lujan says. Heh. Still, she doesn’t think she should be concerned about Mia, and Marizza’s like, “Yeah, I don’t actually care about Mia, I just don’t want them to break up.” What? Mia needs better friends. Marizza’s all like, “Mia and Manuel can’t break up! They have a miraculous love!” They really do not, Marizza.

Blas comes by and demands to see Lujan’s story. Lujan BSes that she doesn’t have a hard copy, so he tells her to print it out and then bring it to the office. Marizza pulls a book of stories off her shelf and starts typing it up.
Back in the cafeteria, Sol’s told the girls that Manuel and Sabrina slept together. All the girls are like, “No way! Tell me more!” in the way that gossipy teenagers do. Sol says that she can get Pilar to confirm it, and then they’re going to anonymously spread it around school. Pilar’s like, “Nah, I don’t do that anymore.” She thinks messing with Mia and Manuel’s relationship is a step too far, and the other girls agree with her, for some reason. THEIR LOVE IS NOT THAT MIRACULOUS, GUYS. Sol re-convinces Fernanda and Belen that messing up Mia and Manuel’s relationship will ruin Mia, and only Pilar is uncomfortable with this whole thing.

Lujan comes back, having printed out her story, and says she’s going to turn it in to Dunoff because she doesn’t know what else to do. She snipes that she’s just not as smart as Marizza’s new bestie, Mia. Marizza’s like, “I don’t have time to be passive-aggressive, do you want a fake story or not?” She gives the floppy disk(!!) of her typed-up story to Lujan, and all is forgiven.

Antiquated technology makes everything better!
For some reason, Mia is still trying to get Feli to put up with Leo and his fuckboy ways, because they need the photos of Sol. Didn’t they already…oh my God, whatever. Feli refuses, but then their fight is forgotten when they see a big poster put up in the hallway. “Who’s the pretty blonde whose boyfriend is cheating on her with a friend? Poor thing, it’s so hard to be her,” the poster reads. Feli’s like, “Oh, I know! The blonde is Sol!” and Mia’s like, “No, you dumbass, it’s me.”

They immediately cotton on that this is Sol’s doing, and go off to confront her. Sol snaps that she didn’t write anything but the truth — Manuel is cheating on Mia, and wouldn’t she like to know who with? Marizza hustles Sol and her group out before Sol can reveal everything, and is like, “See? She wouldn’t stay and fight, that proves she’s lying.” Mia muses that she still feels like something is off.
Meanwhile, Pablo’s trying to convince Manuel that he doesn’t have to break up with Mia, because sleeping with another girl and getting her pregnant isn’t like, that big of a deal, in the grand scheme of things. Why is this entire band trying to make me hate them? Then Tomás and Guido come in. They want to know what’s going on, but Pablo and Manuel are like, “Absolutely nothing!” and hustle off. Guido is suspicious, and says he’s going to find out what’s going on. I guess ever since he found out that Diego cheated on Marizza, he thinks he’s a detective now.

“Evidence!”
Night falls, and everyone in Erreway is in bed, being emo. Holy shit, this scene goes on forever. I DON’T NEED TO SEE LUISANA LOPILATO TRYING TO EMOTE FOR THAT LONG.

After a million years, it’s morning again. Dunoff comes in, and Gloria hands over Lujan’s story. Dunoff’s happy as a clam, until she adds that Papa B is here to see him. “What does he want now?” Dunoff sighs. Heh. Papa B is here about money, as usual. He wants to see a list of the school’s expenses, and given that this school looks like an overgrown preschool and they have three teachers and no extracurriculars, I fail to see how Elite Way can have any expenses whatsoever. Anyway, Dunoff can’t find the folder, and admits that he’s been a bit scatterbrained for personal reasons. Papa B’s like, “Tell me more, old pal!” and Dunoff confesses that he’s on the verge of getting a divorce. Papa B snaps that a divorced principal would be bad for the school’s image, so Dunoff better get his life together. Then Ines bursts in, wailing to Papa B that something terrible has happened.
Marizza wants to know if Lujan was so salty because she’s jealous that Mia and Marizza are besties now. Lujan cops to it, and confesses that ever since Marcos went full douchebag, she’s afraid that everyone’s going to leave her. Marizza’s like, “Me, leave? You’ll never get rid of me. Ever.” That sounds like a threat, honestly. Mia rocks up and Lujan scrams. Mia tells Marizza that she can’t stop thinking about what Sol said. Marizza’s like, “Pfft, it’s just Sol.” She asks if Mia would forgive Manuel if he cheated on her, and Mia’s like, “Uh…no?” and Marizza’s like, “But, but, your love is so real!” Mia reminds her that she didn’t forgive Diego, and Marizza says that that was different, because it was just casual. What? Doesn’t that make what Manuel did to Mia worse? Like, I think Diego was a douche either way, but by Marizza’s logic, shouldn’t his thing with Paloma not be a big deal, since they weren’t exclusive? WHATEVER.

Sabrina comes by to tell Manuel that her pregnancy test was negative, but that doesn’t mean she can’t still be pregnant. She’s going to get a blood test and stuff, and it’s okay if he doesn’t want to come, since she’s used to being abandoned and unloved and lonely. Manuel’s stupid Dulcinea complex is activated, and he agrees to come with her to the hospital. Pablo rocks up and he’s like, “Dude, what the hell are you doing?”, but reluctantly agrees to cover for him. Then Marizza comes running in, trying to follow Manuel — she doesn’t see Sabrina — and Pablo blocks her. Marizza refocuses her anger on Pablo for stealing her diary, and he’s like, “Dude, what the hell?” again, some more. He reminds her that if he wanted to fight with her, he’d just do it face to face, instead of sneaking around. Marizza’s like, “Huh. That’s true.” Pablo’s like, “Why do you care so much if I have it? Oooh, did you write something about me?” Marizza blusters that she TOTALLY DIDN’T, and then changes the subject: she knows he’s covering for Manuel, and she knows Manuel slept with Sabrina, so let’s all stop dicking each other around now. Except for Mia. She gets be dicked around for a few more episodes yet.

Meanwhile, Rocco’s attempts to meddle in Vico’s life have made everything worse, as usual. Tato comes to the school to confront her. He makes a reference to her friend with the stupid hair (heh), and Vico realizes that Rocco’s been sneaking around again. She denies knowing anything about it, but Tato snaps that she better stay out of his life, or she’ll regret it.
Pablo wants to know how Marizza knows that Manuel and Sabrina made the beast with two backs, and she BSes that she heard Manuel talking to Sabrina on the phone. Pablo buys this, and asks what they should do to fix things with Mia and Manuel. “I have an idea, but it’s a little crazy,” Marizza says. “It’s your idea, it’s a lot crazy,” Pablo mutters. Heh. Marizza needles him that maybe he needs some crazy in his life. Then, FOR SOME REASON, she insists that the kind of love that Mia and Manuel have is worth any madness. WHAT LOVE? They’ve been dating for like half a year, he spent all the time before that being a jerk to her and also trying to murder her dad, and then he spent the rest of their relationship trying to pressure her into sex. RAISE YOUR STANDARDS, MARIZZA.
Marizza thought Twilight was romantic, didn’t she?
Anyway, she gives him this whole speech about The Power of Love. Pablo is all moved by it, and moves in to kiss her. And then Javier walks in! He’s all, “Aw, hell no, Marizza is my girlfriend! She just doesn’t know it!” He bumps into Pablo and throws off his whole game, then says he’s looking for Papa B. Pablo is pissed and storms off, and Marizza offers to help look for Papa B. Javier’s like, “Golly, do you and Pablo have a thing?” Marizza denies it, but muses that he might be changing. Javier’s like, “Probably not.”

Pablo goes to the office and finds Papa B and Ines there. Papa B asks what Pablo thinks of Javier, and Pablo’s like, “He’s a dick.” Then, to Ines: “Oh, sorry.” Heh. They want to know if Pablo’s ever seen any evidence that Javier’s up to something shady, and sadly Pablo is not in a position to know about his panty-sniffing ways, so he says no. He tells them to ask Javier themselves.

Vico jumps Rocco in the hall and tells him to stop meddling in her life, again, some more. He flips her around and pins her up against the wall, and asks how much money she needs.

Papa C goes to see Sonia, but she jogs right past him, then gets in her car and drives away, ignoring him all the while. Oh, Papa C. You done fucked up, bro.

Blas comes by to ask Dunoff how the whole busting-Lujan thing is going, and Dunoff gushes over Lujan’s story. He congratulates Carmen on being such a good literature teacher, and Carmen’s like, “Lujan’s always seemed kinda dumb to me, but okay.” She takes Lujan’s story and says that she’ll read it later. Blas is like, “But, but, I was gonna get to read it first :(” Dunoff tells him to suck it up, and it’s hilarious. I’m a little disappointed that we don’t get to see him cry.

In the cafeteria, Guido is all salty that Pablo and Manuel were having secret bestie talks without him. Parallels, do you see them? Gloria comes in looking for Manuel, and Pablo covers for him. Guido runs off to tattle to Tomás, and Tomás is just like, “That’s weird.” Heh. He just does not give a shit. Guido ominouses that Pablo has to choose between them and Manuel.
Sol is gushing to Fernanda and Belen about her plan to destroy Mia. Pilar is still mad about it, and tells them that it’s none of their business. How many times am I going to have to watch them have this conversation? Belen rightly points out that everyone hates Sol and no one will believe her if she starts spreading rumors about Mia. Sol snaps that she’ll think of another plan, and storms off. “What plan?” Pilar calls after her. What? I thought you didn’t care, Pilar! Whatever, she’s a hypocrite, like everyone else at this school. Case in point: she sees Tomás being emo, and he admits to her that Pablo and Manuel have been hanging out lately, and freezing him and Guido out. Pilar finds this suspicious, and immediately spills her gossip to Tomás. Hee. Tomás immediately tells Guido, who’s all like, “OMG, MANUEL SLEPT WITH SABRINA?” Vico walks in and tries to shut him up, then Marizza walks in and is like, “What are we talking about?” Vico’s like, “It’s nothing!” and Guido decides to project even louder and be like, “HEY EVERYONE, MANUEL SLEPT WITH SABRINA!” and the whole thing is basically a fantastic multi-car pileup. I will give credit where it’s due: every now and then, this show manages to pull off being genuinely, intentionally funny.

So now basically the entire school knows. Except Mia.
Sol’s master plan is basically to…go tell Feli. In fairness, Feli has proven that she’s willing to believe bad things about Mia with zero proof, so I see where Sol’s coming from. Feli picks now of all times to grow a spine and snaps that she doesn’t believe Sol. She asks why Sol is so jealous of Mia, and Sol snarks that the only thing Mia has that Sol doesn’t is horns. She tells Feli that Manuel slept with Sabrina, and Feli’s like, “They’re just friends!!!” “Sure,” Sol says. “They’re such good friends that they share everything. Even a bed.” Oh snap! Goddamn, the first three-fourths of this episode were boring as hell, but these last ten minutes are AMAZING.

Javier finally gets his butt to the office, and Papa B and Ines confront him over whether or not he’s been expelled from his school. Probably for cutting class, although I hope to God it’s because they figured out what a pervy creep he is.

Everyone goes to class, and Pablo stops Marizza. He tells her he’s been thinking about her whole Power of Love speech, and he got two tickets for Manuel and Mia to get away for a couple of days and be romantic together. Sure, because she’s really gonna want to do that after she finds out he banged Sabrina. Marizza is all twitterpated by how sweet Pablo’s being.

Feli stops Mia before she goes to class, and sobs that something terrible has happened. “Was it Leo? Because I’ll kill him,” Mia says. HA! Feli wails that it has nothing to do with him, but it’s something just awful. Oh my God, Feli, don’t fuck this up for Marizza and Pablo!
