Opening monologue: None today! We dive straight into the action: telenovela amnesia, revenge, and Blas being creepy. Onwards!
So Pablo and Marizza thought that Simon fucked up Pablo’s car. They towed Simon’s car and called him to the auto shop to watch it be destroyed in revenge. It turns out Simon was not the one who fucked up Pablo’s car. Is he pissed? Yes, yes he is. He lays Pablo out with one punch and storms off. Pablo’s head hits some conveniently placed rocks (surely those violate some kind of safety regulation), and Marizza freaks out. Pablo turns out to be fine, but he apparently hit his head on the Conveniently Selective Amnesia Rock, and now he doesn’t know who Marizza is.

Mia finds Vico in the stairwell, crying over Guido. Aw, Vico 🙁 When will Guido be punched? I’m waiting on it. She cries that everyone thinks she’s easy, and Mia sweetly tells her that she knows who Vico really is. Together, they’ll make sure Guido gets what’s coming to him. Ooh, does that mean REVENGE? It totally does.
Back at the auto shop, Marizza and Pablo confirm that he knows everything about himself and his family and his friends, but he’s just totally forgotten who Marizza is. That’s exactly how amnesia works. He asks her to tell her how they know each other, as it might help him remember. Marizza flashbacks to their very first meeting. Aw, that was so long ago! Dig Manuel and his orange pants in the background. Episode 3 was a simpler time. Blah blah fighting, making out, dancing under a disco ball in the sad trailer. Good times! Apparently she’s been telling Pablo about the flashbacks as she experiences them, but he doesn’t believe her: “There’s no way I would fight so much with such a cute girl,” he tells her. Just then, Papa B shows up and hauls Pablo off to the doctor, leaving Marizza twitterpated in his wake.

Meanwhile, Manuel and Lujan are still cleaning the library. Man, this shit stopped being believable when it took Manuel more than one day to do it. Anyway, Fernanda rocks up and asks if they’ve seen Lucia. I can only assume that that’s Random Amanda, but I’m having far too much fun calling her Random Amanda, so I’m going to ignore her real name. Anyway, she needles them over cleaning the library and then flounces off, so that was pointless. Lujan asks Manuel to explain the plan again, now that the audience is here: he’s going to distract Angelita, and Lujan’s going to sneak in and steal any and all Blas-related things. He’s worried that she won’t be able to do it, and she’s like, “I grew up on the mean streets of Buenos Aires, I can do anything!” Wow, she went like twenty episodes without reminding us she was a homeless orphan. That’s a new record. Then Gloria rocks in and tells Lujan that her tutor’s here to see her, and he is pissed.
Tomás and Marizza wait for Pablo to come back to school. Marizza is freaking out, which even Tomás can notice: “Why are you so nervous?” Marizza’s like, “I AM PERFECTLY CALM!!!” Hee. Papa B comes back with Pablo, and tells them that Pablo has partial amnesia, aka telenovela amnesia, where he remembers everything except his love interest and certain plot points. Papa B tells them that nobody else in the school can know about this. Hmm, but I bet they will find out, somehow. Papa B hustles Tomás off for contrivance purposes, and Pablo gives Marizza a flower and thanks her for saving him. Marizza’s all twitterpated.

Lujan’s tutor bawls her out for investigating Blas, and he tells her that if he finds out she’s been nosing around him again, he’ll send her to an institution far, far away from her friends. Can this guy look at his life choices and question why he’s so far up Blas’s ass? You’re a grown-ass adult, fake tutor! Love yourself!
Dunoff tries to make Mama D quit her job as the English teacher, and Mama D threatens to expose his dirty dealings to God and everybody. Hee! That was awesome. Pilar comes in next and Dunoff has to tell her that Mama D won’t leave the teaching job. Pilar is pissed, as to be expected, and says she’ll get rid of Mama D herself. After class is over, she not-at-all subtly watches Mama D put away her teaching folders in her bag.
Mia and Vico stage a rant about how Mauricio’s holding a contest at the club, and Mia’s all pissed because now she can’t sing. It’s a costume contest, and the prize is a trip to the Caribbean, not to mention hella money. They pretend that nobody’s mention it because they’re trying to keep their costumes secret. Guido’s like, “Money? Girls possibly wearing swimsuits? Sign me up!”
Marizza squeals over Pablo to Lujan, who’s like, “You crazy.” “Crazy for Pablo,” Marizza sighs. Lujan is rightly a little weirded out. Pablo invites Marizza to the cafeteria with him, and Marizza is all aflutter. Lujan’s like, “Hello? Have you forgotten everything that’s happened in the past 110 episodes?” Marizza sighs that getting hit on the head and losing his memory has really changed Pablo. He’s even brought her a Gogurt! That’s real love.

Mia brings a contract for Manuel to sign — her money in exchange for Manuel letting her icky illegal relationship with Blas continue. He wants to know where she’s going, and she says she’s going to Nico’s club. Nico’s like, “What a coincidence! We are also going to the club!” and Mia snaps at them to pretend they don’t know her while they’re there.
Guido waxes on to Sandra about how he’s going to go to the Caribbean and get much girls and money. Sandra’s like, “Only if you robbed several banks.” Cata wanders up and suggests to Guido that the girls are taking him for a ride, and he’s like, “Not to worry, I’m going to have the best costume!” Oh, sure, that’ll work out so well for him.
Marizza tells Pablo about her quince, and Pablo says he’d like to go as her date. Marizza starts fantasizing about dancing with Pablo in the main hall, while wearing the ugliest pair of shoes known to man. Dream!Marizza and Dream!Pablo make out, so I’m guessing she says yes. We don’t really know, because it cuts to…
Later that day. I thought it was the next day, but they’re all wearing the same clothes, so I guess not. Manuel offers Lujan the chance to back out of their plan, on account of her tutor and all, but Lujan says she’s sticking with him to the end. She wonders if Mia is suspicious of this whole operation, but Manuel’s like, “Pfffft.”
Papa B wants to know who pushed Pablo and made him lose his memory, but Pablo declines to tell and kicks Papa B out of the school. Ooh, Simon better watch out. Papa B has a pair of cement boots and he’s not afraid to use them. Sure enough, Papa B goes out to lunch with his Mustache Sidekick and tells him to stalk Simon and find out everything about him. Mustache Sidekick (“Moreno”, I think) is like, “And then I make it look like an accident!” Papa B’s like, “For once…no.”
Mia gives Manuel her credit card, and he snaps that he needs cash. Not shady at all! Mia grudgingly tells him to withdraw the money from her account, but she expects it to be returned once he’s done. I don’t think Mia quite grasps the concept of paying someone off. Manuel insists he’s not a thief, and Mia hands over her PIN. She wrote it down? This can only end well.

There’s an unnecessarily long scene of Mama D coming into the teachers’ lounge, putting her bag down, messing around with her folders, and walking out. A better show would just have her drop her bag in there. Or even just have Pilar walk in without showing Mama D at all. I promise we can all remember what happened like three scenes ago. Anyway, Pilar steals Mama D’s teaching folder.

Marizza calls Facundo to the school and reams him out for cutting the brakes on Pablo’s car. “Those were the brakes?” he derps. He just went in and cut some wires, he didn’t know what he was cutting! Oh my God, is he dumber than Tomás? He might actually be. He asks if Pablo’s okay, and Marizza confirms, and Facundo’s like, “Oh, so we cool then.” Marizza’s like, “No! We are not cool!” “It’s almost like you care more about him than me,” Facundo whines. Or maybe she’s totally weirded out by your lack of remorse, Facundo. I mean, he goes off and apologizes to Pablo, but he could put a little more effort into it. Pablo forgives him, and Facundo sighs that he realizes that Marizza has a thing for Pablo. Then he turns around to where Tomás has witnessed all of this: “I won the bet!” Oh, Pablo. What’s Tomás gonna do without the Final Fantasy soundtrack, huh?
In the teachers’ lounge, Renata needles Mansilla some more about lying to Nico’s parents. (Mansilla BSes that Nico explained everything to his classmates about his being Jewish, which still doesn’t explain why he’s not listed as Jewish in the school registry, if such a thing should be listed. I don’t think it should? It seems a little Reich-y.) Nico comes in and Mansilla panic-eyes at him until he lies to Renata that everything’s fixed with his parents. To thank them, he’s inviting them to some kind of charity party — conveniently, it’s a ticket for two people. Renata snips that she doesn’t go to parties without her boyfriend; Mansilla pushes it over and tells Renata to take her boyfriend. She can’t, as he’s studying abroad. Mansilla starts needling her about being too scared to go with him, so of course she agrees to go.

Manuel meets Angelita at a restaurant, where Lujan pretends to be the waitress. She steals Angelita’s keys from her bag and presumably goes off to her house. Manuel stalls Angelita until she starts to get suspicious, and snaps that she doesn’t believe he has the money. Bizarrely, Lujan is shown putting Angelita’s keys back in her bag, then it cuts to a scene of her in Angelita’s house. How is this happening? Never mind, I don’t care that much. Manuel takes Angelita to the bank to withdraw the money, but he loses Mia’s pin. Angelita hustles off telling Manuel not to bother her again. Whatever. Why didn’t he bring the money with him?

Sonia comes to the school to help Mia and Marizza with their parties, and they immediately start fighting over her. Sonia suggests to them that, being born on the same day and all, one would say they’re destined to have their party together! Mia and Marizza are both like, “No.” For some reason, Sonia is surprised by this. Marizza says they won’t even want it in the same place: she wants to have the party in the school, which Mia surely won’t like! Except that’s totally also where Mia wants to hold the party. Sonia’s like, “You already have so much in common!” I don’t think this show is smart enough to have done it on purpose, but they’re even wearing the same style of shirt here:

Tomás wanders around in the towel and looks sadly at his CDs. Then it occurs to him: if Pablo’s forgotten Marizza, how does he remember the bet? He goes barreling into the hallway (still in just his towel) and asks Pablo what’s up, and Pablo reveals that he was faking it the whole time. He and Tomás have a hearty chuckle about taking Marizza for a ride. So mean 🙁 Pablo goes to find Sonia and Marizza, and pretends not to know Sonia. He’s all like, “That’s your mom?” Marizza thinks that Pablo’s going to start lusting after her mother like all guys do (just the guys who are too old for you anyway, Marizza!), but Pablo says he thinks Marizza is prettier. Marizza’s all twitterpated. Oh, Marizza. Even if I still don’t like her 100% of the time, nobody deserves to get played by Pablo and Tomás, of all people.

Nico says he doesn’t want to go to the club with everyone, on account of the awkwardness with Tatiana and Mauricio. Luna says she’ll stay with him, and they talk about their relationship some more. Luna says if it’s so important to his family, she’ll convert to Judaism. She already believes in God, and there’s much less self-flagellation in literally any other religion besides Catholicism (I say this as a Catholic).
Lujan’s still in Angelita’s home when she gets back. She hides in one of the side rooms, and someone else rings Angelita’s doorbell. “YOU?!” Angelita gasps. For once, the show doesn’t leave it on a cliffhanger: we immediately see that it’s Lujan’s not-tutor. He looks a little weird here, like his head is too small for his body. If this show decided to go the supernatural route and reveal that he’s wearing some kind of skin suit, I would not even be surprised. Anyway, Lujan runs off to tell Manuel — she wants to go confront her tutor, but Manuel tells her they have to plan carefully.

Mia and Vico try to convince Feli to come to the club with them. The hair-behind-the-ears look is really working for her, I must say.

She agrees, and their talk turns to Mia’s quince. Mia grudgingly admits that she sees why Marizza’s pissed: if Mia had a mom, she wouldn’t want to be sharing her with anyone. Feli says Mia is so awesome, she doesn’t need help planning a party. Then Papa C walks in and asks Mia if she wants to go to dinner with Mercedes and Luz. Mia shoots him down — I don’t know why he even bothered — and then Luz comes in and calls Papa C “Daddy.” Mia is not happy, at all. She decides she’ll even share her party with Marizza, just to piss Mercedes and Luz off by hanging out with Sonia.

Okay, this isn’t a good screencap, but it’s the only one I’ve got.
Everyone goes to the club. Marizza fusses over Pablo every time he so much as implies that his head hurts. Vico and Mia are all shocked to see them together, although Mia opines they’ll be ripping each other’s hair out in five seconds. Hee. Not that she sticks around to watch, because then Blas shows up! At a club where all his teenage charges are! Not weird at all!

How can he show up for just five seconds and still be the worst part of the episodes?
Then…okay, look, I don’t really get what’s going on here at all. Guido shows up in his costume for the “contest”, which is a Little Red Riding Hood outfit. He’s implied to have come up with this on his own, and it’s like, in what universe would Guido ever have this idea? Vico and Mia mock him for winning the prize of the most ridiculous person there, and Mauricio calls up a bunch of girls to the stage to hang around him. Did they convince Mauricio to help them stage this? Like most things on this show, it’s unclear. Meanwhile, Mansilla and Renata are in the audience, Renata sniping on about how she only came because it’s for a good cause. This good cause is apparently watching a bunch of girls parade across the stage in their pajamas? So it is a real contest, the contest being who…looks best in terry cloth? It is, once again, unclear.

Papa B shows up to the school, demanding to know where Pablo is. Nico and Luna have no idea — Luna dares to ask what’s going on, and Papa B’s like, “Keep asking questions, and you’ll end up sleeping with the fishes.” “I just want to help,” she mutters. Aw, Luna. He snaps that when they see Pablo, they better tell him Papa B is looking for him, and he’s not happy about having his leg pulled. Uh oh.
Pablo leads Marizza off the floor and tells her that he doesn’t know how their relationship was before (lies!), but he’s in love with her now. Avril Lavigne plays softly in the background as he asks her to be his girlfriend. Marizza’s like, “Yikes.”
