Opening monologue: Maybe I can forget you by making out with someone else.
When we last left our heroes, Marizza was using Facundo’s crush on her to manipulate him into doing what she wanted. You’ll recall Pablo bluffed his way out of Erreway by saying he was joining another band, which Marizza is assuming is Facundo’s. She wants Facundo not to let Pablo join, and he tells her that Pablo is his friend. Marizza pouts that she thought she was his friend, too. “You have a really weird idea of friendship,” Facundo says. Oh, Facundo, you’re so naive. Luna could’ve told you that eighty episodes ago. Marizza says that she’s broken up with Marcos, so now she can go out with whoever she wants. “Oh, well, in that case, what about this weekend?” Damn, Facundo moves fast. Marizza wants him to promise that he’ll block Pablo from his band first, and then maybe she’ll go out with him.
(I want to note that Facundo refers to Marcos as a “pibe“, which is a word that they never used at all and have suddenly started saying constantly in the past ten or so episodes. Similarly, they called guys “negros” in the first few episodes and then suddenly stopped. Do they do product placement for words, too?)
Meanwhile, Manuel’s hitting on Mercedes’s sister, Luz. She tells him she’s here to model in Papa C’s show, and Manuel tells her not to be nervous, because she’s super hot. I mean, in slightly more words than that, but the sentiment is there. Luca and Papa C come in bickering, as usual. Papa C hustles Luz off to talk about the campaign, and Luca’s like, “Ayyy Manuel did you see how she was looking at you? She’s crazy about you!” What? Luca, they met like five minutes ago. Anyway, Manuel goes back to the computer and impresses Luca with his business skillz, and Luz comes back and says Papa C chose her for the campaign. Manuel and Luca congratulate her, like Papa C was going to reject his girlfriend’s sister to her face after dragging her all the way here to see him. Luca’s like, “Well, I’ll just leave you two kids alone! That way, you can hook up and I can avoid responsibility. Two birds, one stone, you feel?”

Facundo goes to see Pablo, and Pablo’s like, “Great news, I want to join your band!” Wait, what? Did they ever even want Pablo joining to begin with? Facundo’s like, “Yikes, Marizza said she’d finally go out with me if I didn’t let you join, and I’ve had this boner for forty episodes already, so…” Just kidding, he BSes that there’s no room in the band. He has the grace to look a little guilty about it. Is Marizza worth this, Facundo?

His goatee is conflicted.
You will recall that Fernanda’s ex-boyfriend is some kind of literal clown, so Guido and Tomás call him up and pretend they want to hire him. Fernanda overhears that they’re talking to a “Martin,” and immediately assumes it’s her ex. I mean, she’s not wrong, but Guido BSes that it’s his cousin and runs away, leaving Tomás to wrestle with Fernanda. Again.

In the cafeteria, all the girls are twitterpated over Sonia teaching their dance group. Lujan comes in and they all try to pretend they’re doing homework, but she starts yelling that they didn’t tell her about the dance group. Maybe if you weren’t so violent, Lujan, they’d want to hang out with you. They say that it’s just a thing between friends and hustle off. Okay, see, this is meant to be a lie, but…it actually is? The school isn’t condoning this at all? So it is just a casual thing, and Feli doesn’t have any obligation to invite anyone she doesn’t like. Whatever. Lujan snaps to Luna that she knows they were left out on purpose. “What good friends, huh?” What? Lujan, you don’t even like anyone in that group. Well, except Vico. Aw, maybe she’s feeling betrayed. They used to be crime-fighting friends!
As Feli’s group leaves, they muse that maybe they should’ve told Lujan — Marizza’s mom is the teacher, so she’s going to find out anyway, and Feli’s the only one that really wants to ban Marizza and her friends from the group. Feli’s like, “Uh, well, one of us is the leader here and it’s not you. Out of my sight, plebes!” Do you think Feli’s attitude will maybe backfire on her? Vico notes that Feli’s gone mad with power, and Feli says she’s just upset over Augusto. Vico snaps that Augusto is a dick and Feli needs to get over him, but finally gives up: “It’s your life, do what you want.”
Pilar, meanwhile, is lurking behind some pillar, and she smirks to herself. Oh my God, Pilar, get a hobby! I mean, a different hobby.

Sonia and Luca meet up at some cafe. “You’re done with work?” she asks. “No, but I thought I’d take a break. I deserve it,” he says. Oh, Luca. He’s like, “I left it with Manuel, he’s brilliant, truly a 17-year-old is the best person for the job.” That’s sadly probably true. Sonia tells him that, speaking of Manuel, she’s trying to get him and Mia back together. Luca’s like, “Too late, I left him with the hottest chick ever, they are meant2b. It’s Mercedes’s sister!” Luca’s a little creepy about Luz, I must say. Anyway, Sonia’s as thrilled to hear that as you’d expect. Are Luca and Sonia going to break up over a ship war?
Pablo and Paula hang out at Facundo’s place. Is it meant to be the weekend? How are these kids running around outside of school? I guess their leaving is only a big deal when they need to drag out an episode by a few minutes. Anyway, he tells her that he’s fighting with a friend, and the only person he feels like he can be with now is Paula. Paula’s like, “Excellent, I love isolating you from your family and friends!” Then Paula’s phone rings, and it’s Papa B, telling her he knows everything. Honestly, given that the two of them were running around town making out in front of God and everybody, it’s amazing they didn’t get caught sooner. Paula hangs up on him, but Pablo cottons on that something’s weird. He tries to see her phone, but Paula not at all subtly evades him. Eventually Pablo has to go back to school (“Why?” Paula asks. BECAUSE YOU’RE DATING A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD), but he knows something’s up.
Meanwhile, Erreway is rehearsing. We hear the last strains of “Bonita de más” as it cuts in, which is weird, because that is not a song they’ve ever implied playing before. I wonder which of them wrote it. Anyway, Nico’s pissed that the rehearsal’s not going well, and lays the blame on them being a trio now. Marizza protests that there are plenty of trios out there. “Name one.” “…Blink 182,” she says. Hee. Nico, Mia, and Manuel all snap that they don’t make rock music (you don’t have to tell us that), and Marizza’s like, “The Los Panchos Trio?” HEE.

…you know, why doesn’t Nico just join the band? He can play the piano, and he can’t be any worse a singer than Mia.
Anyway, Facundo calls Marizza and tells her that he’s shut Pablo down re: joining his band. Marizza’s like, “Yeah, I’ll go out with you, whatever.” She tells the band that Pablo’s going to come crawling back. He does show up to rehearsal and everyone needles him, but he tells them he’s only there to grab his stuff.
The Society throws a big old rock through Marcos’s window. The room is empty, so Manuel and Nico must still be at rehearsal. Man, Marcos goes to sleep early. There’s a note attached, telling him that before he gets to be initiated, he has to steal something from one of the teachers. Marcos is like, “Yikes, I got an eyebrow ring and all, but I’m still a nerd.”
Guido meets up with Martin offscreen, and comes back to the room to tell Tomás what he found out. Apparently, Martin’s still all hung up on Fernanda, and he insists she didn’t send anyone to the hospital: she’s sweet, kind, and can do crazy things with her tongue. Tomás is like, “Well, that part is true.” I mean, she did knock Tomás to the ground that one time, but then again, haven’t we all felt that urge?
In Marizza’s room, Lujan is still going on about the dance group to Luna. Lujan! You don’t like any of those girls! And given that you’ve thrown more than a few of them up against the wall, they don’t really like you! Why on Earth does she think it’s some kind of injustice that they didn’t include her? Mid-rant, Pilar comes in, and immediately tells them that she overheard Feli saying Sonia Rey is going to teach the dance group. Lujan freaks out that they have to tell Marizza and runs off, but not before getting a dig in at Pilar. Pilar gets all sad that everyone thinks she’s a snitch — especially Nico. “He’s trying to split us up,” she says. Luna quickly assures her that she won’t let that happen.
Lujan tries to sneak out of school to find Marizza, but Blas busts her, so she has to call her instead. Lujan, you don’t have to tell Marizza right now.
Actually, I underestimated Lujan a little. She calls Marizza and tells her that Blas is out patrolling around the school. Erreway freaks out that they won’t have a way to get back in (what, is he going to patrol all night?), and Mia says she’ll go out and distract him. Nico grins a little at that. Aw! I love that Nico and Mia get along. For once, Blas is not completely distracted by his boner for her, and tells her that he knows she’s covering for someone. But he lets her go anyway. Mia’s all twitterpated. NO, MIA!

Meanwhile, Papa B is pissed over the photos of Pablo and Paula. He tries to call Pablo, but gets no response.
The next day, Marizza wakes up to find Luna and Lujan leaning over her. They tell her that they found out Sonia’s directing Feli’s dance group, and Marizza sits up straight in bed. “This time, I’m going to kill Sonia Rey,” she says. Lujan tells her to calm down. Lujan is telling her to calm down? Pot, kettle, etc.
Feli is still waiting for Augusto to text her back. Mia scoffs that all men are the same — rude, selfish, immature. Except for one guy…Blas. NO! NOOOOOOO!

DAMMIT MIA!!!!!
Feli points out that Mia’s literally the only person who school who’s defending his creepy ass, and Mia says that he showed her last night what a good person he was. Then Vico storms in, ranting about Manuel. Feli asks what happened, and Vico immediately dials back and says she doesn’t know. Mia, for some reason, gets all offended that Vico won’t talk about it. Vico finally admits that she fought with Manuel, because he implied that Blas and Mia have a thing going, which is why Blas let Mia go last night. Mia storms off to go kick Manuel’s ass. I mean…he’s not wrong, though.
Marizza runs to Dunoff and cries to him that Sonia’s giving dance classes at the school. Dunoff’s like, “Aw hell no, I’m not going through this drama again.” She wails that Sonia might seem like a good person, but she’s going to teach the girls how to do burlesque dancing or whatever (I mean, they know already), and it’s going to be terrible! Dunoff’s like, “The horror!” “You’re the only who understands me,” Marizza cries. HEE!

Guido and Tomás product-place those yellow bags of chips/candy some more, while Pablo muses over the missed call he has from his dad. He’s kinda like, whatever, and the talk turns to the band. Guido asks if it’s not a little weird that Paula’s so pushy with him leaving, and Pablo’s like, “How dare you criticize, our love is pure!” He tells Guido and Tomás that they have to help him find a new band, and Guido’s like, “Uh…Fernanda beckons. Bye.” Pablo scoffs that Guido’s so hung up on Fernanda now, and Tomás sigh that Fernanda’s the sweetest, prettiest girl in school. Only a complete idiot would let her get away! “Like you,” Pablo notes. Hee. I mean, we know Tomás isn’t that smart.
Paula’s walking down some street when one of Papa B’s cronies accosts her and makes her talk to Papa B on the phone. He threatens her that he’s coming back to Buenos Aires and he’s going to tell Pablo everything, and Paula asks him to let her do it. Papa B acquiesces, but if Paula doesn’t tell Pablo right away, he’s going to do it.

The next day, I think — the scene with Paula looked like nighttime, but who knows. Mia finally gets around to confronting Manuel; she snaps that she heard he’s making up rumors about her. But guess what, they’re true, and Mia is dating Blas. So there! Call the police, Manuel. Sadly, he doesn’t.
Tomás rocks up to Guido and Fernanda and tries to haul Guido away from her. He starts yelling at him for moving on his ex-girlfriend, and Guido’s like, “Dude, you were the one who wanted to break up with her!” Tomás is like, “Well, now I want her back!” Uh, Tomás, are you forgetting how she punched you last episode?
Luca and Sonia hang around and don’t do any work, Papa C argues with them, blah blah bah. I’m so tired of them, I’m dying slowly. Luca leaves, and Papa C asks how much money Sonia wants to leave Luca. Scare chord! Mercedes and Luz show up, and Sonia’s like, “Oh, the little snake.” What is with Sonia and insulting teenagers?
Paula’s not taking Pablo’s calls, and he leaves her a message asking her to call him. Marizza rolls up and asks if he’s joined a new band yet, and Pablo BSes about joining Facundo’s. Marizza calls him out for lying, and once again asks what kind of girlfriend would ask him to ditch something he loves. That’s not a real relationship. Pablo’s like, “Whatever,” and walks off. Marizza looks a little genuinely upset by this.

Papa C tells Mercedes that he offered Sonia money to leave Luca, and she accepted. Mercedes is all twitterpated at getting Sonia out of the way, and remarks that it’ll be good to remove her influence on Mia too. “I’ve already forbidden Sonia from talking to Mia,” Papa C derps. Mercedes is like, “Hello, like that’s ever stopped anyone on this show ever.”
The Society texts Marcos that he has to steal Renata’s wallet. He volunteers to do a problem on the board, and while he’s up there, he jacks the wallet. He leaves to go deliver to the Society, and Lujan follows him, but he shoos her away. A ~mysterious~ hand comes into the frame, removes the money and IDs, and takes the wallet.
Mama D waltzes into Dunoff’s office and is like, “It’s been like twenty episodes, what up!” She says she’s going to work, and Dunoff snarks, “Since when is ‘shopping’ work?” Mama D says today is her first day as the English teacher, and Dunoff is not pleased: he didn’t say she could be a teacher! No, but Mansilla did. What, so Mansilla can just hire whoever he wants? Anyway, Dunoff’s like, “But then I would have to see you like…even more often than I do now.” Mama D’s like, “Don’t worry about that, because I’ll be hitting on Mansilla all the time now! SO THERE!” Wait, I’m confused. Since when were they fighting?
Back in math class, Mansilla comes to sit in on the class. Renata doesn’t like that at all, and he’s like, “Too bad, I have all the power because Dunoff can’t be bothered to run this school himself.”
Manuel gets up in Blas’s face and tells him to stop dating Mia. THANK YOU, MANUEL. You may be creepy, but you’re the only one in this school that gives a shit about stopping statutory rape. Blas is like, “I’m willing to punch a student to defend my creeper ways,” and they almost rumble, but Dunoff interrupts them. Blas remarks that Manuel was just looking for another way to get expelled, and Dunoff immediately turns on him: “What did you do now?”
Fuck Blas. Seriously.
